Not Bad at All!!
Gotta say I've eaten here several times already and have not been disappointed even once. The service has been very attentive even when ordering custom sushi like I usually do since I like to devise some of my own rolls on occasions. The grade of sushi in my opinion has been top scale and as fresh as can be on each visit so hands down this place has everything in order! Some of their own signature rolls are some of the best I have ever had and overall its one of my favorite sushi places in the area (Solon - Hudson - Brecksville). Portions are very fair and prices will not break the bank which is a huge bonus for me since I don't "play it light" when indulging in sushi - it’s one of my favorite foods and believe me I can be very critical of the places that serve it if they don’t do it right.
If you're looking for a great sushi place, Sakura makes the grade. Good atmosphere, good service, and great Sushi!

Sushi is Sensational!
Creekview Sakura is imho THE place to go for sushi in the Cleveland area. The ambiance is not the trendiest as far as sushi places are concerned, but it is clean, well lit, and even has live entertainment on some nights (don't worry - hibachi and sushi chefs are there every night and are every bit as entertaining!).
My wife and I usually get miso soup followed by 5-6 sushi rolls. When we go in bigger groups, the boats start setting sail from the sushi bar to our table. The miso soup is good - just salty enough, and the seaweed is firm. The sushi is consistently excellent, whether we order "only" 5 rolls, or when we order 7 rolls and a large boat for 3. I usually order something different every time I go, and I have never been disappointed.
The service is good and usually friendly. I once had a female server ask me if I could speak Chinese, since I am Chinese by descent. When I said no, she started talking kind of rudely about us in Chinese to another server after a while. Just because I can't speak Chinese, it doesn't mean I can't hear it... :) I never let her know that I was on to her, though, and I have never seen her the many, many times I've been to Creekview Sakura since this unfortunate incident.
OK - Enough ranting about one server who hasn't worked there for years. I didn't count her for my "Service" score.
There is no better place to go for sushi than Creekview Sakura. They have an expansive menu, lots of special rolls which are not in the menu, and the quality/consistency cannot be beat!

Super Sushi!
I ate here last week and sat at the sushi bar. It was fun watching the sushi chefs work. I ordered the house salad ($2.95) and the shrimp tempura sushi ($7.50 I think). The salad was okay- the typical lettuce with ginger dressing served in Japanese restaurants. The dressing was not the best I've ever had. The shrimp tempura sushi (actually I think it is called futomaki since it is cooked) was fabulous, though! This was absolutely the best I've ever had- the shrimp was fried in a light crunchy batter and it was still warm. It was wrapped, along with cucumber strips and avocodo, in sushi rice and seaweed. It was then drizzled with some sort of brown sauce and sesame seeds. Magnificent!
Service was average. Since I was at the sushi bar and I was the only person sitting there, the staff couldn't help but notice when I needed something. The sushi chef was friendly and chatted with me. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Forget it
Service was average and the atmosphere average.
A seafood soup was hot and tasty, although a miso soup was seved lukewarm. The rest of the meal was total disaster. Chicken on a skewer appetizer (about $5.00) was so dry and tough it could not be chewed. A salmon entree (about $15.00)was served floating in a syrupy sauce that had no definable taste except concentrated sugared soy, cloying and salty. Never mind, the salmon was inedible anyway. It was so dried out that the edges were crusty. Neither of these these dishes should have ever been set on a table in front of a customer. This was the third and last time I visited this restaurant. Our other experiences with the food were not good but nowhere this bad.
