Amazing Korean Food
I am definately a Seoul Hot Pot fan. The food is great. The banchan is good. I love the BiBimbap and the Ddeok Manduguk. They serve really good, hot, fresh barley tea when you sit down, and with the korean channels on and the fridge filled with sodas and other drinks, it gives off a nice laid back feel. Will definately go every time I get a chance (unfortunately, it is a drive away).

A Hole In the Wall Filled With Flavor- Not Your Typical Asian food!
My daughter who is a fan of K-dramas dragged me here over a year ago. After a wonderfully large bowl of Dak doritang(spicy chicken stew)I am hooked. Now I drag her there for the free soothing Barley tea that I can't get enough of and stew. I do wish they would serve jajaengmyun(chinese/korean black bean & noodle). The banchan are always interesting and fun to try. My daughter orders something new every time we go mostly successful. You must have time because the food is made fresh just for you. I can't wait to go again for Bibimbop and visit the Chinese bakery Koko's across the street. Yum!

Korean Seoul Food!
This is THE authentic Korean restaurant in Cleveland. The Twikimandu, deep fried potstickers, and the Kimbob (Korean futomaki roll with barbecued beef) are the best in the STATE and the perfect couch potato TV food. The Bulgogi and Kalbi (barbecued beef and short ribs, respectively) are superb, as is the bibimbop (rice with egg and vegetables, and all the little condiments and salads. The summer mulnaengmyun (cold noodle soup) is great but be sure to ask for it with cold beef and go easy on the vinegar and mustard. The spiciest item on the menu is the super hot soengsungchigei (fish soup with tofu and vegies in a pepper broth) and it is is NOT for the faint of heart. It should guarantee to clear any sinuses. The soontofu,(steamed tofu with sesame and soy sauce) is absolutely yummy. Strangely enough, the one item that fails to impress is the kimchi. It is made inhouse but usually too mild compared to the southern Korean styles. The service is very friendly, and they'll start remembering your preferences right after the first sitting. They do serve Korean beer, as well, but not the most trendy brands, and no soju.
They are one block away from the Korea House but they are a world away in terms of the quality of the food and speed of the service. Finally, if you want the full treatment, they have full cook it yourself, gas fired grills in the front room. The rear of the restaurant is my favorite, with the sound of Korean news shows blaring from the corner television. Parking on the street or in the four spaces behind the restaurant is problematic but I've never had to park more than 50 feet from the door. If you work downtown, try calling ahead for take out orders of the kimbob rolls, twikim mandu, or the scallion and pepper pancakes.

Don't Let the Outside Turn You Away
Seedy looking on the outside, genuine and authentic and cozy on the inside. Great food. Great service. Nicer people, better prices, more food, more authentic, less pretentious than Korea House. Best Korean food in Cleveland.
