Skip the beef. October 16, 2005 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        My wife and I dined here on Sweetest Day prior to the fantastic concert. She ordered the Lobster and Scallop Pasta ($27) which she said was great. I order the beef ($30) which turned out the be a heft portiioned filet mignon. Unfortunately it was cold throughout. The server, a very pleasant young woman, did not personally serve the food and was not seen for about ten minutes after the food arrived. She immediately returned the beef to the kitchen and returned with a "new" steak. It was also cold. It seems as though the beef may be purchased pre-cooked then (hopefully) heated before serving. It was a beautiful piece of meat with an unpleasant aftertaste. A gentleman at the adjoining table had the Pretzel Crusted Crab Cake and was heard commenting about the great flavor. In a half full restaurant between 6:30 and 7:30PM, I believe the cook could do a better job with the beef. The restaurant is convenient with a warm ambience and an ample number of employees. But the beef dish for $30, with no salad, I heartily recommend the fish. And yes, I did leave a 15% percent tip anyway. Review By: Mike From Canton
