I will give it another try
My family eats there often. The food is good, and the quality is comparable to food from other restaurants in China town. However, last time we went there it was a huge disappointment. We ordered the fish head bowl. The dish should be made with bighead carp, but they used the common carp. Common carp is cheap and most people would never eat. On the top of that, the fish was contaminated bile. That made the dish inedible. Add insult to injury, the spinach was old and not fresh.
I will go there again, but it will be months later.

Consistently Great
This has been one of our family favorites for years. It is the rare restaurant that can do three different, distinctive cuisines (Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese) and do all consistently very well. The Thai curries rank with some of the best in northeast Ohio and are as good as those we ate in Thailand. When we get Vietnamese cravings (8 years of living in the Twin Cities with its huge Vietnamese community and great restaurants taught us to love this stuff) the Vietnamese dishes are always good, fresh and tasty (I especially like the Xao Bun.) And the Chinese dishes are exciting. The Clay pot dishes (try the beef short ribs in pepper sauce) are hard to find in this area and just wonderful. I just wish we could get there more often.

One of My Old Standbys
This is one of my regular lunch spots. The food is consistent, the vast majority of the servers are pleasant, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable.
My favorite item, by far, on the menu is the goi cuon (spelling?). It's a rice paper roll (like an egg roll but not fried) filled with rice noodles, bean sprouts, shrimp, pork, cucumber, and lettuce. It's almost guilt-free and extremely satisfying. It is an appetizer, but sometimes I just order two servings and have this for my whole meal. At $2.95 per order, this is really cheap lunch.
The pad thai is excellent. When I do take out, an order of pad thai is a necessity.
A really cool thing about this restaurant is the live fish tanks. I'm not a big fish person, but I have had the traditional steamed fish here. It was interesting. The fish comes out with it's scales, head, and tail. It's a bit intimidating but really a fun experience (although pricey, ~ $27 for a large fish, can't remember what kind, bass maybe?) Oh, and this isn't technically a Chinese restaurant, you won't find egg rolls here. There are some "Chinese" dishes, but this is actually a Vietnamese and Thai restaurant. So if you're looking for specific Chinese dishes, you may be disappointed.

I am for Siam!!!
I am Asian, and I love this place!!! The food is always fresh, and delicious, let alone...abundant! Prices are affordable too! The atmosphere can be noisy during the weekend, and on a Friday night it's practically packed, but the food is worth it! The staff has always been friendly, and fast. Just make sure to let them know, if you're in a hurry, and they'll accomodate. I've never been disappointed! It's a fun place to be....if you're hungry!!!

Best of Chinese
First off, Siam Cafe is my favorite chinese restaurant. I have not tried their Thai menu all that much, but for chinese, they consistently serve up fresh and tastey food! If you are unsure what to order, you are best going with a group and trying out their group special from the Chinese menu. You won't be sorry. They have a variety of chinese tea for you to drink with your meal.

The large, open dining rooms of local favorite Siam Cafe are sure to be packed at lunch, but this doesn't keep the downtown and East Side office types from trying to snag a table. The menu here is the draw, not the atmosphere, and Siam Cafe offers enough choices to make return visits necessary. The lunch menu is a (slightly) abbreviated version of the huge dinner menu, which offers Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese dishes under the headings of soup, lobster and crab, seafood, poultry, fish, frog, beef and pork, vegetable and bean curd, casserole, rice and noodle soup (just to name a few). Our recommendation? Go with a large group and share - unless, that is, you want to keep the spiced beef with jellyfish all to yourself. Less adventurous eaters will do well here, too, as standards such as pork lo mein and sweet-and-sour chicken are also available.
