Tasty Surprise in Wooster


We dropped off our youngest son at college this week at the College of Wooster and spent one day and one night in town. Having never been here before, we didn't know what to expect. We went to the South Market Bistro for dinner and it was amazing! The place is very charming and the food was really outstanding. I got the steak and it was cooked perfectly in a mushroom and wine sauce. We will definitely be going back - a pleasant surprise.

A Fine Cuisine


I recently had diner at the South Market Bistro in Wooster. I just really enjoyed it. I had a Pan Seared Salmon served with Jasmine rice and a Ginger-Miso Glaze for about $24.00 I think. It was absolutely outstanding. The salmon was moist and the glaze gave it an asian flavor. A very fine combination. For dessert i could not pass up a pecan tart with a chocolate ganache. The list of wines is not bad either.
