Not Just Convenient
Just a great destination before or after a show. But, convenience isn't the only reason to go there, the food is excellent, great soups and awesome fresh bread. Good friendly service. Live Piano music Fridays.

Excellent!!!
Lamb chops and garlic herb risotto were oustanding!! Salad was interesting and delicious!!! Appetizers, too,(Almon crusted brie) were inventive and very pleasing!!! Can't go wrong---walked to the show from inside the restaurant --- brought a drink with us...had a great time!!!

Playhouse Square is nothing if not theatrical, and at Star - the center's pre- and post-show dining mainstay - the servers' singing is part of the culinary experience. One of the numbers, an energetic rendition of Irving Berlin's ""Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better,"" mirrors the kitchen's quickly paced confidence. Regular menu items include the masterfully presented sirloin cobb salad, with hefty slices of medium-rare, fork-tender, flavorful steak and field greens tossed in a Pommery dressing. Star is more fully enjoyed after the early theater crush; the staff can relax, relieved from the challenge of offering fine dining within tight time constraints.
