A gem of a place

I was recently introduced to Stevensons by my girlfriend. She lives in Euclid and was very intent on trying this place. When I first saw it, I drove by and asked her to reconsider. Well, long story short, she got me to take the plunge....LOVED IT!! The burgers Rick, the French fries are the best, and all for under 25 bucks. You have to try this place...it's my new favorite burger joint!

I grew up in Stevenson's & worked there as a teen 1950's/60's

I love this run-down dump! I'm 64 years old now, and the place was ancient when I was a kid. Owners are not allowed to replace any of the structure, due to zoning law changes-- but, protected by a grandfather clause exemption, so long as they do not tear down. As such, the place has been listing to the west for as long as I can remember. I don't think it is unsafe, because it is now on literally on the ground. Little has changed (except those great Bertman's pickles that are no longer made), and that is it's charm. I love the burgers & fries… and their greasy scent, which clings to your clothes. Awesome memories for me.

Best burger in town, hands down...

I've been going to Stevenson's since I was a kid, and am now 25 and I still eat there! The Big Guy is most certainly the tastiest burger you could get, very messy though! The fries are amazing, and are hand cut right in front of you. Also, they have the best breaded mushrooms, EVER! Like a previous reviewer said, Bruce the owner is a one man show, and you will almost ALWAYS see him if you visit there. You will notice however, that the place is a dive, but don't let this fool you! I took my girlfriend there years ago, a little embarassed of the appearance of the place, and she loves it!

old school

yes itīs true..the burgers are fantastic but itīs hard to distinguise between "juicy" and "greasy"!!! I really believe the secret is in the little flattop grill used to cook the burgers..looking pre-war (WW1?) and no doubt still containing grease from that time period!! The building is so old that the floor actually lists!! (or was that the effect from the budwieser)?..Great place, great atmospere!!

Something Missing

After reading the previous reviews, I couldn't wait to try a burger from Stevenson's. When I finally ordered a take out burger, I was disappointed. It was overdone and pretty dry. The fries were flimsy and burnt. Maybe the food tastes better if you eat it there. I won't find out, though, because I won't be back.

Chili to die for

We just found this place via the News Herald Best Burger review. Burgers are delish but the Chili is to die for. I've been trying to duplicate it but with no luck.(I have to go back for another bowl).Bruce is a one man show when we've been there and never disappointed.

Don't let the outside fool you

This place has awesome Burgers, sandwichs, soups. This the only place to get French Fries. They're hand cut right before your eyes. The portions are large, the beer is COOOLD and prices cheap Bruce and his help are ALWAYS entertaining.

World Famous For Burgers

Stevenson's is widely known for the best burger in town. And that title is well-deserved. This is a great little diner. Burgers, sandwiches, soup...it's all here. It's inexpensive. Enjoy a burger, with fries, and enjoy a few beers for under $10. You will be shocked at the pricing. I love it here!
