Reviews of Fireside Grill

A glowing orange sign beckons diners to Bainbridge's Fireside Grill. Once inside, patrons discover other changes to the establishment formerly known as Stix: The dining room has been painted a shade of burgundy aptly called Fireweed, and a fireplace is a homey and appropriate touch. The menu has undergone transformation as well, with two dozen new items and configurations. In the latter category are Fireside's create-your-own burgers and chicken breast sandwiches, offering diners multiple options that allow them to re-create past menu favorites or come up with entirely different combinations. Completely new items include a pecan-crusted salmon filet, Cajun chicken salad, top sirloin steak and a mussels Provenìale appetizer. Popular holdovers include calamari tossed with garlic, olive oil, spinach and roasted red peppers, as well as the Athenian pasta, with tomatoes, spinach, kalamata olives, roasted red peppers and fresh garlic in a feta cream sauce over linguini. To top it all off, there's homemade dessert: crÅme br?lee, apple crisp and Mississippi mud pie.
