The Owner's Rudeness
We were charged extra for either applesauce or sour cream for potato panckes. I complained and the owner said I can't give it away for free, and if you don't like this, then don't come back here. The restaurant was was not crowded at all. She will be out of business if she can't handle a
comment like this.

Bringing friends to your special place
It was introduced to us from friends six years ago. The friends, Jack and Gail have moved to Tennesee since then. We have introduced the place to quite a few people and everyone is amazed at the scrumptious food and good prices. Looking forward to going there at least once or twice a year. We will be bringing friends again this weekend to introduce them to this quaint little house that feels like home and has the best Schnitzel around. I definately would rate this a 5............Liz and Joe

"Try the Veal.....its the best in the City"
.....or try anything on the menu. These receipes for veal and pasta are tastes you may only find in your own kitchen if you are a gifted chef. The best part of a trip to Sutter's is bringing in friends for the first time to also enjoy this good food. Although, I am still looking for the gun behind the toilet...."you know one of those old fashioned ones with the tank up on the wall".

"SUTTER-LY" WONDERFUL!
We visited Sutter's a few weeks ago after a friend said that this restaurant was "a diamond in the rough." Boy, was he right!
The restaurant sits on Route 87 amongst construction and industrial companies, but don't let the dump trucks and dust fool you!
The restaurant was clean, well staffed and everyone was VERY friendly and knowledgeable.
The food was incredible! HUGE portions and reasonably priced!
We're going back tonight! :)

Several years ago, John and Stephanie Sutter relocated the venerable Sutter's restaurant from East 140th Street in Cleveland to Newbury. But if they ever miss the gritty city, they don't need to look far. Sandwiched between earthmovers and a tire store, Sutter's blends in with the Twin Peaks allure of Geauga County: a little mysterious, sort of odd, yet compelling. It's the opposite of a trendy downtown restaurant, a place for a real meal for a decent fare, with lots to spare for tomorrow's lunch. If you're going to break your moratorium on veal, Sutter's is the place to do it. Start with a wondrous Hungarian goulash soup laden with veal, carrots, noodles and green pepper, and graduate to the combo platter for an entree: Wiener schnitzel and stuffed cabbage, with veal as the meat of choice for both. Mom's stuffed cabbage is still number one, but Sutter's comes in a close second. The schnitzel is deep-fried, and the combo comes with potato pancakes. At the end of it all you're deliciously sated, grateful to have found this comfort-food paradise and 12 hours from beginning your diet.
