This Case Western Reserve University campus-area favorite is back under its original ownership. Some subtle but noticeable changes have been made to the decor, including the addition of dramatic Picasso-esque art and accents throughout; fortunately for patrons, the welcoming bar area and popular patio remain largely unchanged. The menu, however, bears witness to the switch, with good results. Lunch options include soups, salads, sandwiches and pasta, along with a few house specialties. Of the latter, the pineapple chicken curry, served with a bounty of fresh fruit and a mild curry dressing, is an excellent change of pace. Dinner entrees run the gamut from seafood and beef to chicken and pasta. Even in these carb-shy times, the bombalotti romana - made with spirelli in cream with mushrooms, sausage and peas - makes a hearty and interesting meal. A select number of wines are available by the glass.
