We had a birthday dinner there. I ordered a steak and shrimp which was priced at 16.99. It was overcooked, not medium like requested, more like well done. As a side dish there were five pieces of home fries that were fried to a crisp. My husband had a sirloin steak for about the same price as mine. Baked potatoe was uncooked, and cold. My grandmother could not even eat the mashed potatoes, and granfathers steak (filley) was terrible , tasteless. We had to ask for rolls, and the waitress brought the cheapest looking rolls that were not even warm.

The rustic-casual atmosphere and high log-beam ceilings of this noisy and popular eatery belie the top-notch quality - if relatively limited tone - of its menu. The emphasis is on beef, chicken and fish done Western: grilled, roasted, braised. Salmon and shrimp make an appearance, with the former exquisitely done cedar-planked with roasted garlic aņoli and the latter char-grilled and skewered, sharing the plate with a Kansas City sirloin. Lobster ravioli, broiled tilapia and batter-fried perch are house favorites, but the headliner has to be the walnut-crusted Bighorn trout, an unusual - and delicious - entree served with mountain berry preserves. Sticking to the Western theme, Timberfire's two-fisted sandwiches include the burgers Old Faithful, Big Sky and Dakota; all sandwiches are accompanied by diner's choice from otherwise ź la carte ""Little Plates"" that include home fries, broccoli, coleslaw, and fontinella mashed potatoes. Timberfire offers a wide selection of beers; the wine list is a bit limited, but appropriate to the menu.

The atmousphere was Wild Wild West- Wonderful!!
To begin our dinning pleasure, we started out with the best soup we have ever had. We then went onto have our main entrees which were all excellent. The prices were very reasonable. The serving sizes were huge. Our service was out of this world. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Also, the kids absolutely loved it!
