Steelers Rule!!!

I have cut down on my drinking and so i do not go out to bars much anymore but i must say that i have been to the Blue Moose plenty of times be4, the food was always great, and the service quite superb! i was not aware that the owner and just about every1 going there are Steelers fans but now that i know they are- i plan on returning to support the Steelers and being in the company of other Steelers fans while i get my drink on! all you other people that have spoken negatively about that place and the staff in there are just unhappy with your lives and usually have to find something to complain about and/or are in need of a lot of attention so your opinions dont mean ****

This is pay your bills town...

I am a transplanted Steeler fan who has lived in NE Ohio for the last 20 years because of my job and am amazed of the idiocy that I read here. You belittle a guy running a business he caters to a crowd of people who will show up every friggin' Sunday. Thank God you're not giving me any financial advice. The owner is not anti Cleveland by providing this atmosphere for some die hards to show up every Sunday and support their team. They drink, they eat and they spend money. Let me ask you a serious question...why all of the hate? Hell, the Steelers main rival isn't even the Browns..it's the Ravens. Maybe your misplaced logic should be there too since they "stole" your franchise. Instead, you put your efforts toward hating an organization that goes to the playoff most years and is relevant year in and year out. You hate a bar owner who is smart enough that in week 12 when Browns fans aren't coming to his bar anymore, can count on a group of people to help pay his bills. Seriously, it is childish. I don't hate Browns fans..I just will never understand them. I've been in bars in Cleveland when the opposing team scores a touchdown against the Steelers and you burst out like you just won the lottery. Only problem is your team is down by 3 touchdowns in your game..why would you even care? LOL. It's penis envy..that simple. Hey..google Lombardi Trophy and the number 6 and call me in the morning. God bless the owner of the Blue Moose for making money and paying his bills.

Drunk ranting owner

A very drunk White owner yelled to his staff out on the patio that he did not want to see "one more n*gger in his club!" The inner bar and patio bar emptied out fast and the staff was so mortified that they started apologizing to everyone. One bartender quit on the spot and other employees outwardly stated they will not be returning. A very sad turn of events for a place with a nice patio and decent wings.

A Great Place

I really like this place. It could be a little bit cleaner but my service is continually exceptional. It really jumps on the weekend and they have the absolute best selection of wings. I will dine here time and time again. (: (: (:

Service Staff in Dire Need of Repair

I have been in the restaurant industry for 8 years, and the service here is the worst I have ever come across; time and time again. I think they make a point of hiring unqualified, rude, ignorant and brainless bar tenders. I quit dining inside the restaurant over 2 years ago because I couldn't deal with the slow and painful process one had to go through to attempt to eat something there. I have to admit though I love the wings, that sauce called Southern Belle is my favorite. So I've resorted to ordering take-out. Even this has proven to be a dreadful experience. Once I was told my food would be ready in twenty minutes, so I got there in ten, thinking I'd have a drink while I waited. I sat at the bar, which wasn't crowded, and sat there for over ten minutes before the bar tender even acknowledged me. Once I finally had a drink I waited another thirty minutes before the twenty wings that I ordered were ready. Nearly an hour, fifty minutes since I had placed the order before it was ready. I wasn't going say anything so I paid my tab. When the bartender brought my change I did decide to say something. I said "You know, that took a really long time for those wings." I wasn't angry or yelling, just very 'matter of fact'. But the bartender jumped down my throat, claiming it wasn't her fault and blaming the kitchen, blaming another takeout order, blaming some guys ordering tacos. I was astounded by her reaction, I wasn't blaming anyone, I paid my tab, wasn't trying to get any discounts, I just thought someone should know. So I refused to go there any longer. Until about a week ago, I had the craving for those Southern Belle wings. So again I attempted to order take-out. This time I got there right when the wings were said to be done. When I told the bartender what I was there for I could tell by the look on her face that the order was never placed. So while I had to wait I was going to have a drink. I asked the bartender if they had any micro-brews, she said she didn't know what that meant. I don't know why I try going there, are the wings really worth it?

Makes me wanna go here.

I have never been here but after seeing all the reviews of this place, I think I will be going there next time I want to catch a steelers game. I can not believe how rude some cleveland browns fans are. In my hometown in PA we were never rude to the Browns fans that came in. I can not wait to try the wings! GO STEELERS!

totally different in 09

My friends and I stopped at Blue Moose a few Fridays ago and it was totally different than i remember it from last summer. The bartenders were awesome. the service was fast and we love to dance, the DJ was amazing. The inside is like a danceclub downtown and the outside you can just chill with friends. I will be back for sure. Thanks Blue Moose!!

This is not a Steeler backer bar

I know the owner, went to college with him here in Cleveland as a matter of fact. He's a great guy, a Browns fan, a local boy who is building a local business in his hometown. And yet he gets angry comments from people who have no idea what they are talking about. The Blue Moose IS NOT A STEELER BACKER BAR. The only people saying that have never been there in the first place. You can watch the Browns there every Sunday until the end of their season. Once Browns season ends, who cares what type of football party he hosts? Um, grow up and get a life? The dude needs to make a living, too. What if someone told you that if you did work for people from Pittsburgh, they'd no longer be your customer? If you're a plumber or steel worker, that would sound absolutely childish and ridiculous. And that's how it sounds here. The place is great. Try it out. Go see the Browns there any Sunday there are still playing.

Jekyll and Hyde

I've been drinking there a few different times and most of the times I went there it was a meat market filled with obnoxious dude bro gotti brother goop gel wanna be's and oompa loompa tanned twits. The service was rude and slow and the drinks were expensive and you barely got any alcohol in them. I went to the tiki bar outside a few times and the bartender kept ignoring us and was serving people that had just got there when we had already placed our drink order 10 minutes beforehand! The second time I went to the tiki bar we had pretty good service. I went inside yet again on a Saturday night and there was a really awesome 80's band and the crowd was totally different from the last few times. I actually had a good time and the drinks weren't watered down. So I think I'll go here a few more times and see.

What a Bunch of Cry Babies

I've never been here yet, was looking for a place to go eat today and looked at the reviews and most of the reviews put down this place because he catered a party to WHOM EVER! THAT'S BUSINESS YOU IDIOTS! Are you guys going to be there to pay the rent and all of the other bills when they cater to one type...... like are you all from the 60's or what? Isn't that called segregation? GROW UP MORONS! Some of you even admitted the food was great and still want to see this poor person burn in hell. That is really sad.

A Steelers Backers bar in Cleveland??? LAUGHABLE I wouldnt give you traitors 5 cents. I know MANY Browns fans who feel the same way. I belong to a Browns backers group who has over 1000 members. We do a bar hop every year...we will not go to your bar.

Like ranch? Try the Matador Ranch wings!

Used to eat at the Moose almost every week after practice and have enjoyed their food for 3 or 4 years. The service is generally good, the wait staff are pleasant and attentive. The booths are nice and clean, and prices are good - especially on Wednesday night for all-you-can-eat wings. Not sure that loyalty to one sports team or another has anything to do with the quality of service and food, so take the Anti-Steelers reviews with a grain of salt the size of your car. If you like good wings, check 'em out.

A WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY

ordered chips and salsa as an app. Received stale chips and a plastic cup of salsa for 4.99. Also ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. That was horrible. It came on a small white wonder bread hamburger bun and the chicken was tiny. A friend orders the philly steak and cheese and that came on a small white hot dog bun. Yikes!!!! The 2 dollar beer special that are posted inside and outside were not honored per the owners request. What a loser place.... Never Again....

Bitter Clowns fans.........

We are Steeler fans, living in the Cleveland area, and greatful that there is an establishment with taste and class. The food and service are top notch, and it is great to be surrounded by black and gold on game day. Steeler fans are fun, not nasty and bitter....(like so many "clowns"fans). I know we'd NEVER throw beer bottles on OUR field!!!!!!!!! We commend the Blue Moose, and we will see you on November 19!! GO STEELERS!!!!!

GIve the guy a break

I am a die hard BROWNS fan and have been for life, born and raised in Cleveland. I think that hurting a mans business because he likes a different team and supports a different team is plain wrong. even if they are the Steelers. Be bigger than that, if it is a nice place with good food, what does it matter. Lets be real about this.. When the Browns get back to their old glory then things like this wont even matter. I mean until the Browns are a better team, we cant say that there is a true rivalry between us and them. They come to Cleveland and spank us.. what kind of rivalry is that !! Face the facts. GO BROWNS !!!!!

Stillers FAN-OWNER Traitor !!

Wonder if this guy is going to have a vigil for Big Ben Roethlesberger. If this attitude does not give you acid reflux then seeing a wave of Black-and Gold during football season will. And they are Cleveland-born, Steeler fans. If you want to join in the fun with this phoney who has a marginal establishment and food, be my guest.

Can't have it both ways jerk ! There are plenty of Cleveland joints who don't sell out that will get my cash. The owner is arrogant. Met the guy once and that was enough. For that attitude you would think he owned the Taj Majal and not some mediocre Parma joint. Much better food and atmosphere elsewhere !

Did not like the Royalton Moose but this one gives us a reason to hate this one. He caters to Stiller fans, the phoney, traitor creep. Food is marginal, service slow and tons of annoying PA accents during football. Boycott this dump in my opinion ! $ell out Jerk !

Keep your Stillers fans, Moose!

How dare you! Do you appreciate, respect or (in the least) care for the community that YOU represent..at all? You'll put up neon, pictures, posters and signs for the Tribe, Browns, Cavs and Cleveland's best. But, you'll piss on all of it to make a buck by selling Iorn City Urine for a Steelers' party! You suck. But there is one good thing, Cleveland-area Guys!!! If you're looking to avoid hairy, fat, ugly, stupid women that stand when they pee--join us in staying away from the Moose...that's where all of the Pittsburgh fans go. To anyone that's with us in boycotting the Blue Moose I'd say to post a question on their web-site...but there isn't one! The one time I was there...the food was good and hot but the service was quite slow!

This is Browns-Town!

My friends, family & I have been there a few times a month for the last few years. But now we're boycotting it! They actually promoted a pro-Steelers rally (for their playoff game) there! This is Brownstown and we can't take another shot like this. We can get wings, a tv and a few drinks ANYWHERE! Preferably a Cleveland-friendly place! Too bad...for the Moose!
