Best $8.50 Steak on the North Coast
Thursday Night is Steak Night at the Ugly Broad.
For $8.50 you get a strip steak, baked potato or fries, a salad loaded with cheese or if you are cheeseless some of the best coleslaw this side of the Mississippi. Do they even serve Cole slaw west of the Mississippi? Can't remember. Anyway, this is a neighborhood bar owned by Sherry Perry. Sherry is known for her hospitality and knowledge of John Wayne trivia. If you venture in on steak night, you will understand the John Wayne reference. Try it! I guarantee you will like it.
