I was there that day when you received your "horrible service and cold food". I reguarly eat at Victoria's, and can I say, that, in all my years going there I have never seen a group of more rude people. Victoria's has some of the best and homemade food around, not to mention all the waitresses are hard working and very nice. Just so you know, by making the huge seen in the resteraunt that you did, it not only made you seem more foolish and but reased suspicion about why you were there in the first place! The customers that eat there know that the food is good, and the waitresses there would never try to jip you out of money. If you only did not want to pay for the BLT (even though I'm sure nothing was actually wrong with it) that would have been fine.... but you then also asked to not pay for the remaining three plates of food that were hot and freshly prepared for you..... if you ask me thats a little suspicious....

We had a party of four -- our total meal would have been approximatly $25-$30. I was at a restaurant in Parma this past Sunday and had a "horrible" experience there. One thing I noticed when we walked in was that it had a sign saying that they won a "Clean Plate" mention from your station. Too bad there is not a "Good Service" award. We went to Victoria's Deli and Restaurant on Ames Road. Our waitress was horrible. She made on member of our party (a party of four, two being teenagers) wait to get his tomato juice... even after she had received a reminder from him. After his reminder, she served a couple of other tables (not a problem in my book -- I would expect that)... then she cleaned a couple of other tables off and served coffee, and visited with her other co-workers -- not bringing the tomato juice out for an additional five minutes. She did not need a third reminder, but definitely made him wait. Then to make matters worse, when she brought out our food, the BLT that was ordered was cold -- cold, toasted bread and the bacon was cold -- like it was take out of the refrigerator. When Rich mentioned that to our waitress, she rolled her eyes at him and (understandably) he got upset with her and told her to forget it... she only said OK, took the sandwich and turned her back on him. I then called the manager over and asked for a different waitress. Rich was going to just stay and let the rest of us finish our meals (even though I did not have an appetite after the waitress ordeal). When the manager came back to our table, she told Rich that she felt the sandwich and that it was warm -- that she saw no problems with it -- definitely letting us know that she thought we were lyers. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. At that point, we were so frustrated that we left the other three meals to leave. To instigate even more problems, we were told that we would have to pay for the other three meals. The manager told us that there was nothing wrong with the other three meals. I told her that after the service and treatment we had just received from them, we did not have the appetite or the desire to stay to finish the meals. But to no avail, we ended up paying for the meals. Rich was definitely not a happy camper and let the Manager know. He was then told by the cashier that he needed to keep his voice down, instigating the matter even more. All of this over a $5.00 meal. Whatever happened to the "customer being right!" I just thought that you would want to know that your news broadcast and the "Clean Plate" award appeared to be a joke after the service we received from them. We have every intention of speaking to the manager, but it is a definitely a place we will never step foot in again, AND - we will make sure that all of our friends know as well!

This place has great homemade food & great prices. The breakfast is awesome too! I have never had french toast & pancakes like I had at Victoria's Deli. They are both so good it is hard to decide which one to order! That is a good problem to have.
