Never AGAIN
Ok this is a bad on me for going to this place 3 different times, but I do like to give places more then one try if I find something wrong. This past Friday was the last time I will ever set foot in this bar again. We went in only for the fact all the other places were packed and we were hungry. The service started ok with fast drinks, but that was all I can say was good or fast about the place. When the server did come back to take our order she didn't feel the need to write it down. Shocking we didn't get the food we ordered nor did the food we get come out the way we asked. Just as we finished some of our food the server comes back and says that our other order should be up soon. At this point we were looking to just get out of the place. I guess this is better then the last time I was there and they took over a hour to take my order and then another hour later to come back and tell me "oh my gosh, I guess they didn't get your food up." The man in charge was told about what had happened and yet both times found talking to his friends that were there was more important then coming to our table. This place has done so many things wrong that I could go on forever. So if you do want to try this place good luck, but I would say skip it and save yourself the let down and try one of the other places that are a few feet away on the street.

Great Sunday Brunch!
On my last visit to Lakewood, my friend took me to the West End Tavern for Sunday brunch. What a cool place! Everything was as good as I was told it would be. My omelette was delicious, and between our server Kimberly's sense of humor and the "killer" Bloody Marys, we had a great time. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Nice, Quaint, and a reminder of the PAST!
We need to go back to this place... it's been a few years since a dear, friend invited us to his Thursday night hang-out! We really enjoyed ourselves, and the evening brought back fond memories of when I was a little girl and Mom and I would head into Lakewood to see my wonderful Grandmother! The place inside is nicely done... food is excellent, with a good variety to choose from; including their 'daily' specials. Prices are decent as well! If you get a chance, give it a try, if you haven't done so. I think you will be pleasantly surprised!
