Best place on the block
The food is better than average bar food but just barely. The entertainment was good in spite of poor acoustics.
In spite of their web site advertising free parking, beware. Don’t listen to the owner when he tells you to park out back as long as there is no one in the parking kiosk. After a $50 charge for unauthorized parking he changed his tune and told me that “free parking was on the street.”
The hallway to the bathrooms would gag a maggot.

Always a great experience
Upon first glance, Wilbert's didn't seem like a place I would like. Boy, was I wrong! A friend and I originally went there to see some guys perform whom we were familiar with, but Wilbert's was a different venue than usual. I have to say, the service was very friendly and the food fabulous! We've gone back several times, I've even taken my pre-teen son and he loves it also! Now, whenever we have an event in Cleveland, this is where we go first! Try the nachos, there's a TON, plenty for sharing!!! (If you WANT to share!)

Felt Like I was 21
Im 17 ,almost 18. I went to wilberts for my boyfriend, and his dad. His dad is the sound guy there, and my boyfriend played for open mic. I was awesome. We were asked to be managed, after these guys heard us play. And on top of that everyone there was so friendly to me. They even complimented my cigarettes. I ahd a blast. i felt out of my element like i was at some retro club.

awesome experience
I have been here several times for pre-game meetings and live music venues and have always been treated well. The food is great at a decent price for being downtown. Although parking when games are going on can be crazy but there are tons of other lots within a few blocks.

hot and saucy food and music
Saw Anthony Gomes this past Friday,Oct 13,and had a wonderful time. Despite being a bit short handed Mike and the rest had the food on the table in reasonable time and the food was very good. I had a table of six reserved, best seat in the house(Thanks Mike). Everyone of my guests had a good time and were not disappointed. The eating area was clean as well as the restrooms.

Wilbert's Is The Worst
This is probably the all time worst dining experience of a lifetime. There were 18 in our party. The first 12 arrived and got a table for dinner and the show. The last 6 of arrived about 30 minutes later. We were told there was a $12 per person cover charge to hear a local band! I told the host that had I called earlier in the day and was told the cover charge was $5.00. His response was "Oh, well" He finally dropped the charge to $10. We told him that part of our group was already seated, and that we all planned to have dinner. He assured us to come on in and they would find a table for us. After an hour of standing, I approached the host and asked if they could please set up two fold up table propped against the wall so the 8 of us could order dinner. He said that I would have to asked the manager, and pointed to a guy in a blue shirt. When I apporached the manager with the same request, emphasizing that there were 8 people who would like to order dinner, his resaponse was "And where do you expect me to put the tables?" He then threw up his hands and walked away while I was talking. The 12 people now sitting had placed food orders. An hour and ten minutes later, 11 people received food. However, 9 of the orders were wrong. One person who ordered musseils was served raw, unopened mussels. One person recieved nothing. The orders were sent back and after waiting another 30 minutes for the food to come out, the manager was called to the table. He started yelling at the people at the table. At this point they decided to leave, without eating.
The manager followed them to the parking lot yelling at them and told them he was taking theie license number and calling the police.
Unbelievalbe!
