Northern Ohio Live Magazine


Curved walls, 1920s-style caricatures by long-ago Cleveland reporter Winsor French (for whom the restaurant is named) and jazzy paintings of his subjects give this hotel dining room a distinctive edge. The offerings on the menu further the appeal, starting with the calamari and rock shrimp. Entrees include turkey medallions, rack of lamb and bacon-wrapped tenderloin. Other specialties include apple-marinated pork chops and Mediterranean pasta (farfalle pasta tossed with sun-dried tomatoes, basil, asparagus tips, goat cheese, olives and pine nuts).
