Anthony's of Little Italy - A Great Evening!
We had dinner at Anthony's the other night - Great experience! We ordered this mediterranean chicken dish that my wife saw them cook on tv recently, and it was excellent - as was the caprese salad. Very nice selection of Italian wines. Rustic setting & friendly service was nice touch. We'll definitely be back.

Got Gelato?...Anthony's of Little Italy Does!
If you have a chance to get down to the old neighborhood, I highly recommend that you visit Anthony's of Little Italy. This casual, friendly little cafe has got to be one of Cleveland's best-kept secrets.
I stopped-by there recently for lunch while working that day in the University Circle area, and I'm really glad that I did.
I felt like I stepped into the Old World when I walked in the door and smelled the amazing mixed aroma of pizza, garlic & bread. As Italian music played in the background, the servers interacted in a very engaging, energetic manner with me & the many other customers who were lined-up at the counters.
For lunch, I had an incredibly flavorful, grilled chicken pesto panini sandwich that was extremely filling. Fortunately, I was not too full to pass-up desert, because it turns out that Anthony's makes the best gelato that I've had since vacationing in Florence with my family. The servers actually encouraged me to sample several flavors before deciding on one...I highly recommend the "Zabajone" which I was told is a creamy blend of honey, egg-custard, and marsala wine. It was heavenly! All told, I spent just under $10 on lunch, and it was well worth it! My co-worker spent slightly less because she opted for a 1/2-calzone, which she loved...she also loved the gelato - pistachio! I'm definitely going back to Anthony's of Little Italy, and next time I'm bringing my family!
