Bobby's Deli Filled my Belly

I was pleasantly suprised when I entered this Little "JOINT". I figured it was worth a try as I was starving.. After my sandwich arrived I was floored.. The corned Beef was melt it your mouth tender with the PERFECT amount of spices. After eating that and 3 beers I was DONE !! I give this JOINT a 9.25.. It's a shame they're aren't more little "JOINTS" around anymore.. Oh well i'll go back to this one again when I'm in the area..

Bobby's Deli

I had a corned beef Reuben for lunch in Bobby's Deli and it was very good. From the outside, Bobby's looks like a little dump - like everything else on the near East side of Cleveland - but the food was very good - like everything else on the near East side of Cleveland. For around $7 I got a corned beef Reuben sandwich that was taller than it was wide. I had to eat some of the corned beef with a fork from the sandwich before I could pick the sandwich up with my hands. In my opinion, the corned beef was very good - not too dry, not too soggy and I thought it was spiced just right. I think the Reuben at Bobby's could use more Kraut and less meat but overall, I thought it was very good none-the-less. Bobby's also offers chicken club sandwiches and gyro sandwiches, etc... as well, which I have not tried yet but I will in the future. The atmosphere is that of a small 1960's vintage diner. I don't know if it is original or a re-production but it is in good condition and very clean. The service was very good and of course it would be - it's a small place. I didn't have to wait for anything - the waitress came around frequently to check all of the customers. I think Bobby's is a good place to stop for lunch or dinner after work on the near East side of Cleveland.
