Unbelievably Bella!
My wife and I had been by Bongiornos a few times on our Harley and always wanted to pop in an try it out. We were so glad we did. The appetizers alone were better than expected and then the entrees blew us away! We both felt that Gordon Ramsey would have loved it as well. So don't wai another day, stop into Borgionos and see for yourself what fine, casual dining should be like.

Excellent!
Bongiornos Restaurant is a wonderful place for authentic Italian cooking in an romantic and cozy atomosphere. I have never had a bad meal here and the service is impeccable.
I would recommend this place to anyone who seeks to get above and beyond what they pay for in a dining experience. It is not your average staged eatery with prepackaged foods. Everything is cooked fresh and with love.
My latest trip I tried the special (which is always a hit). Crab stuffed halibut, plated with rissotto and plum tomotoes. The meal also came with warm rolls, garlic butter and a house salad for starts. Molto Bene!

Excellante'
What a Surprise actually finding an authentic Italian Restaurant in Twinsburg. Food, both the Appetizers and the Main Course were exceptional. Our server was fun and helpful. Glad we stumbled upon this little place.

Casually Romantic!
We have been to to dinner here three times now and really enjoy it. There are not many places left where you can enjoy music, spirits,a cigarette and fantastic meal as well! All of this and an outside ambiance too! We love it the romantic Sinatra style music but it is a toss up between them and the food and the hospitality. Worth every penny! Cheers to this family run establishment.

Wow. Really great food
We decided to try this restaurant since all the great reviews before me. At first I wasnt too sure. The decor isnt all that special , but dont let that fool you. White linen on the tables. Food is presented on china. Service is top notch. I was so impressed with the food, I cant wait to go back!!! We tried their early bird dinner for 11.95, includes soup, salad, entree and beverage. There was, Id say about 15 or 16 items to choose from. We both chose the veal. Pasta faziol (sp)is as good as Piccilo Mondo when they were open. Im told the weekends they have live jazz/ big band on the covered patio. We cant wait to return.

OH MY GOD!
This was the most fantastic Italian food I've ever had. My husband, my sister in law, and I all bit into our dinners and said "Oh My God" I had a weekend special, with salmon, shrimp, artichokes, roasted red peppers and a white wine sauce. It was amazing, the flavors and textures were perfect. My husband had the chicken Milanese. The combo of chicken, proscuitto, and the sauce was almost a sin to eat. SIL had the veal pizzaiola, and loved it. It was a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff was soooo great, we were late guests, just in town for the night, and they very graciously accomodated us. I would drive the 4 hours each way to go again.

Italian Francaise?
Yes, it's true.....the Chicken Francaise is to die for!!!!
We had our dinner out on the patio. It was so nice to listen to the music and enjoy our meal. Never felt rushed and had the best waitress. I was surprised to find elbow macaroni in the weddnig soup, but it was still delicious. My entree had so much flavor....A++++++. Hubby enojyed his veal which I understand is a specialty. I do have to say that I didnot like the marinara sauce. I prefer a richer flavor and theirs did not do the trick for me. All in all, it was a great meal....we've told friends about it and they agree with us....can't wait to go back!!!!

Remember A Taste of Europe, that intriguing chalet-like spot at the intersection of Ravenna Road and Route 82 in Twinsburg? It's been given new life and a new name - Bongiorno's Ristorante - by Jim and Rissa Cucuzza. When their well-established digs in Bainbridge met with a fire two years ago, they rose like the phoenix, renovated the grand old Twinsburg building and created a prime spot for dining and drinks. Jim is also the head chef and is proud of his unique seafood dishes: Calamari, sauteed in olive oil, then baked, melts in your mouth. He prepares shrimp entrees in several different ways, but the rich combination of Shrimp Carlos and eggplant Parmesan stands out. A sensational selection of veal (cut by the chef himself) is highlighted by the pizzaoila: medallions in garlic, mushrooms and kalamata olives, graced by the Cucuzzas' homemade marinara sauce.

The Best Little Italian Restaurant in Northern Ohio
"We have finally returned to this hidden treasure. Due to illness, I had been unable to frequent this unique dining experience. My wife & I finally returned this evening and again, we were not disappointed. We dine out very frequently, and return here because of the friendly service, the wonderful cuisine & atmosphere.
Bongiorno's is located on Route 82 between Twinsburg & Aurora at the location of the old Taste of Europe/Black Forest Inn. The remodeled restaurant is very comfortable with white tablecloths, linen napkins & candles. Seating indoors will accommodate approximately 60 guests in the dining room. There is also an isolated bar that features a large screen state of the art TV for sporting events, etc.
An additional outdoor patio is available in the spring, summer & fall months, weather permitting. There is live music on the weekends for your listening enjoyment; so arrive early as the patio fills very quickly and there are no reservations for the patio.
The restaurant is family owned by the Cucuzza Family. Jim, the Master Chef, his wife, Rissa, and their dedicated staff work very hard to ensure that every customer has a fine dining experience.
My wife ordered the Steak Romano, a butterfly cut Filet Mignon encrusted with Romano cheese and breadcrumbs that was so tender that you could cut it with a fork. It practically melted in her mouth. I had the Pollo Pommarola, sautéed boneless, skinless breasts of chicken with plum tomatoes, garlic & pesto served in a white wine sauce that is fantastic. All entrée’s come with Chiabata bread, fresh salad and a side of pasta when appropriate. I have not had it, but I understand from friends that I have taken to this establishment, that the Calamari is the best they have ever eaten. This restaurant serves authentic Italian food made the authentic Italian way. All entrée’s are made from scratch as well as 90% of the desserts. You will not be served any pre-packaged or pre-prepared foods like you would get in a chain type of restaurant. Our bill came to $39.00 plus tip, a true bargain when considering the quality & quantity of food, the service and the ambience.
This restaurant belongs in Little Italy. Reservations are a must, especially on weekends. Try it and you too, will return.
