no class place

The service was horrible. Bartender kept flipping her long hair around near our food. The owner (I assume) screamed at a waitress and called her an insulting name (starts with B) in front of customers. Will never return here again.

not going back. ever.

Not impressed with their service, attitude or the food quality. The bill totalled 12.84. I gave the barmaid a 20. She tried to keep the change as a tip. Apparently she deserved it for ignoring the two of us at the bar. The owner was very rude with us also and just kept flirting with a blonde at the end of the bar. The food was ok - the green lettuce strips are a really good salad.

Great Service

I attend bonnies regularly because of the outstanding service. They have very resonable prices and great workers. The location is great and the atmosphere is family worthy. The fish fry is to die for! They just replaced the doors and the behind the bar area making Bonnies an ever cleaner location to hang out at.

Horrible Management !!!

I have been going to bonnies with my husband and coworkers for the past year( because they are right down the street from my work and my home) for their wings. Last week my husband and i went and ate our usual wings and had some left over, the waitress gave us a to go box . This week i went with a friend and had some wings left over and was refused a to go box, i was a little upset by this so we asked another waitress if we could have a to go box and explained the situation. The manager came over ( whom which may i say has horrible manners ) and said it has always been their policy that no to go boxes for their wings. I proceeded to tell him that we have always been able to take our leftovers home! I told him that the people sitting next to us received a to go box for their wings ( i watched the waitress set the box down and i watched the couple walk out with the box) and that i would appreciate it if he would be consistent with his rules. He said that he cleared their table and that there was no to go box. So now that i am making things up, i see how silly i was to think that i could take home what i paid for. All i was asking is that he be consistent with his customers and his policy of taking home wings. Oh and may i say that he said that he would be firing the waitress that served us last week for breaking the rules! If that is the case then he needs to fire every waitress and himself, for he has given me a to go box in the past year! I say go to the winking lizard, friendly staff and great wings!!!

Fairview's hidden gem.

Bonnie's new ownership has transformed it into one of the West side's best secrets. By day it's a family-friendly restaurant while by night a friendly and comfortable corner bar (however the kitchen is open until 2am!). The menu includes mostly standard bar fare, but what's not standard is that the food is consistently fresh and well-prepared. Friday fish fry is terrific. After 9pm they serve $4 pitcher domestic drafts, quite a deal. All prices, both drinks and food, are very fair and considering the quality of the product and the efficiency of service, Bonnie's is a relative steal. Well worth checking out.

Great Food & Fun; Right Around the Corner

The new owners of Bonnie's Lounge have revitilized the almost 70 year old neighborhood bar into one of the Fairview Park's most inviting and up-and-coming establishments. The fabulous kitchen is almost always open serving old favorites and modern additions, the smell of cigarettes has vanished, and a major renovation including a front window and back patio are on the way! Try it out, you will not be disappointed.

Where everybody knows your name

Love this place! The service is friendly and quick, prices are cheap and the food is outstanding! Don't miss their fish fry during lent. Only bad thing is the smoky smell that I'm assuming is hard to get rid of.
