Relaxed place to meet friends
North End Market is our favorite place to go in Hudson. Scott and Elaine have taken the old North End Market and transformed it into the most comfortable wine bar in the area. The kitchen turns out fabulous food that rivals the best eateries in the region, but the best part is being able to stroll around the wine racks to look at & select a bottle of wine that surrounds the entire dining area. If you can't make up you mind, they offer flights of wines, but make sure you get the Good Stuff flight!
They have great music on the weekends and the Saturday afternoon wine tastings are are a relaxing way to learn about wines and make friends.
Is it the fanciest place in town? No. Is it among the best? Absolutely.

Worst of Hudson
Our experience at the Northend (our first time there) was nothing short of terrible. The first impression was the host who needs a lesson in manners. I couldn't believe the arrogance and complete distain he seemed to personify towards us for merely asking for a table for 4. Imagine our surprise when he told us that he “might” be able to seat us in awhile as I stared at many open tables. He invited us to a table in front of the cooler at the front door. I felt like I was eating at the local 7-11 in front of the beer cooler. Bartender was off that night so others were covering - poorly. No bottle wine list published! Poor service- food was middle of the road – but the attitude and poor service was the real bad taste in our mouths. Never again.

Great food and wine...atmosphere leaves something to be desired though...
We like to eat at the North End every once in a while. We find the food very good, the wine selection great, the people friendly etc The only problem is the layout of the eating area is awkward to us and just not very comfortable. It's almost as if it were a store, and some tables were set down. Which is fine, but we tend to like a little more ambiance.

Pittsburgh Toledo Half Way Point
The North End Restaurant in Hudson is a meeting place for my sister and I between Pittsburgh Pa. and Toledo Oh. This restaurant has great apptizers and excellent main courses. We have meet there several times and each time it gets better because of the outstanding additions to the menu and fantastic staff. A major highlight is there vast assortment different beers and wines to complement the meals. The atmosphere there lets you relax and enjoy your time there. I can't say enough good things about this place, I highly recommend this place.(Desserts A+++)

Great Girls Night Out
I went there with a girls night out crew and we had a wonderful time eating and drinking in a comfortable atmosphere. Staff was awesome. Every dish we ordered was tasty and Tuesday night had a great wine special. Was great for a girls night out and we all agreed we'd be taking our husbands back for an intimate evening for two.

Best of Hudson
The North End Wine Bar is one of the best restaurants in Hudson. The food is excellent, the menus creative, the service friendly and attentive, the wine selection superb, and all in a relaxed atmosphere. Scott and Elaine Kuebler and the staff have made NEM my favorite place in Hudson. The mussels , under $20, and osso bucco, $20, were well prepared. The flights of wine, $10 for four samples, are a nice way to ease into the evening. Treat yourself to dinner at NEM; you won't be disappointed.
