SUNDAY LIQUOR!!! December 08, 2005 Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        Live music every Friday and Saturday nights, and occasional weekdays. There isn't a stage to get in the way, you sit at the tables or bar a few feet from where the band is set up on the floor. The drinks are cheap, and so is the food. Not much in the way of a menu (subs and nachos), more like..."I really should eat something, anything before I drink too much". It's family owned, and it shows. The bartenders are always super nice and pour generously. The clientele...well you're likely to see fans of whatever band is playing; along with the old regulars, that don't seem to fit in on those nights, but they drink and are happy just the same. It's a fairly small place, but it's been packed whenever I have gone...that only being a drawback due to trying to find a parking spot on the street. Also... "Songcatcher Studio located upstairs from Verlie's Cafe. Engineer/producer Ken Erb brings his 20 years of studio experience to the table. Turning out quality recording at an affordable price."(www.verliescafe.com) And if that's not enough...
