Delightful dining!
I had only planned on a simple dinner, but after reviewing the menu and sampling the appetizer (smoked salmon), I enjoyed a full course meal. The soup and salad were excellent, only to be outdone by the entree. Dessert was luscious! Prices were a little higher than I expected, but a good value for the amount and quality of food I received.
Service was friendly, attentive, and courteous. My server brought out a sample of the soup and suggested I taste it first before ordering, as some customers had expressed unexpected dissatisfaction.
The atmosphere was comfortable, with dark wood and low lighting. There was a sports channel on in the area where I was seated, and this was a bit distracting, but not unreasonably so.
The Clubhouse Grill is a good value for the price, with sociable wait staff, and a pleasant atmosphere! If I'm ever in the Cleveland area again, I will definitely put it on my itinerary.

OK but expensive for what you get
This must have been a Cooker at some point, so there's no real ambiance, but the food is OK. It's not expensive by any means, but it is definitely too pricey for what you get. The food is most like "upscale family diner" if there is such a thing. There should definitely be more value. It's not that the portions are necessarily small, but it's not gourmet food. It's not a chain, but I can't say the food's much better than an Applebee's. Which isn't exactly something you want to be compared to.

Food Fantasy!
The food is fantastic!!! The overall experience was wonderful and the food was amazing! I had a strip steak for the price I paid, I did not expect it to be this delicious! It was so tender you could have cut it with a butter knife! My husband had a delicious pasta dish with cajun chicken and shrimp. Our dinners even came with a salad, not ala carte. You definately get more for your money. We were so pleased we went back for breakfast! The food quality is spectacular!

Join the "CLUBhouse"
Here's what's cool about Westlake's CLUBHOUSE GRILLE...
* It's not a chain!
* The owners are on premise 99% of the time!
* It's smoke free!
* Great food (opens at 6a for breakfast, lunch and dinner)!
* Reasonable prices!
* Full bar but family friendly (GREAT wine list too).
I have eaten at the Clubhouse in the last 2 weeks for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was excellent! Why wait 45 to an hour and a half for a table at the chains. The CLUBHOUSE gets busy, but I have never waited longer than 20 minutes at the peak of dinner!
