Asked to leave after 1 hour 15minutes
I was not amused this afternoon by being asked to leave. I was having lunch with some friends and we began to feel rushed while ordering dessert. Minutes after paying the bill (having left a very good tip) we were asked to give up our table "because the needed our section". Section! It was a table for 4! We had only been there 1 hour and 15 minutes and there was a very small amount of people waiting! I have never ever been asked to leave any restaurant, we paid and were certainly not in the realm of abusing seating AND if they had waited another 5-10 minutes we would have happily left and I wouldn't be writing this poor review. All of us agreed that although the food is decent, we will avoid lunching there unless someone we are with truly wants to go. That's how insulted we were.

Most Disappointed
My wife is of Lebanese descent and we were both looking forward to visiting Taza as we heard some good reviews about the food. I had a taste for a lamb entree and asked our waiter for a recommendation. He suggested something called fatteh lamb and my wife was not familiar with this but she decided to also try it. What a major disappointment; a bowl about 2/3rds of the way full of greasy chips, a spicy chick pea concoction and about 2 tablespoons (no joke) of shredded lamb meat. It was more like an appetizer, except for the cost ($16.95 ea.). I believe that it is not typical of the food at Taza, but this dish does not belong on the menu of any Chagrin Blvd. eatery.

You only get one chance to make a first impression...
...and WOW, did Taza come through! We just moved to the Garfield Heights area, and our new landlord took us out to show us around and buy us lunch. He could not have picked a better place :) Food was amazing, atmosphere was wonderful, and staff was attentive without being annoying. I'm definitely going back.

Love it!
First time to Taza'a after my dad who is Lebanese has been raving about it, and that says alot for him to rave about his own food...he is very particular and stubborn. I have to agree completely! Food was not only delicious, it was fresh and fragrant to the point I couldnt wait till it was put in front of me! The lentil soup was great, the "appetizer" which I call it is such a treat especially for resteraunts nowadays being "cheap" with their food, when you sit down they bring you fresh fluffy pita along with lebon ( a cheese like cream cheese but a little more sour) and olives and oil and sesame I believe, I mean this is when you sit down...it was so good, not like those bread and butter things they bring out! My entree was the Shish chicken kafta platter, it came with Lebanese rice, veggies, tahini 4 really large kafta's and a garlic paste, I can say enough how fresh, aromatic and tasty it was, really delicious. The entree ran about $16.50 but I had so much food, that I will be having it for lunch the next day so it was worth its price, my friends had the shish tawook and hummos veggie wrap, both again delicious and hearty. Being Lebanese (and any other's who read this) we are very particular how we or others replicate or cook "our" food, it is personal and reflects who we are. I have to say that Taza has it down, amazing food, great atmospehere, reasonable pricing and wonderful service and location. I do hope they open one on the west end but if not, it is well worth the drive!

Absolutely OUTSTANDING!
Great atmosphere and terrific service make their fantastic food even better! Super friendly wait staff, and the food...!!! Felafel that's the best I've had outside Israel; fresh-baked small pita... Don't miss the Hummus Fatteh, Felafel (actually the EQUAL to any I've had in Israel), and the Makanek (the lemon-pomegranate sauce is unique and addictive). Very nice wine selection, as well (my kingdom for a place to buy a bottle of the Kefrayah Rouge!!!)
