Fabulous Dinners - Priced Accordingly
My husband and I have visited this restaurant several times over the past 2 1/2 years and keep returning!! Every special occassion we want to "splurge" and treat ourselves to fine dining we find that we are never disappointed in Carmella's fresh, homemade variety of mouth watering dishes. She even visits tableside:) Starting with appetizers that are our favorite - Banana Peppers and Calamari to a wonderful variety of Italian entrees. Dave's and my favorite are the Osso Bucco - with a side of creamy Polenta, Veal Marsala which was served with O'Beran Cabernet - an excellent suggestion by our server Megan. We do request her on our every visit as she is knowledgable in the menu and attentive. I guess Carmella knows how to keep her help!! Another favorite of ours is the Manicotti which is baked in cheese and tomato sauce and spaghetti and meatballs. The rich flavor is not to be duplicated. With the Caesar salads to start from the Canoli to finish it is a definite treat!! The restaurant is a romantic, quite, sophisicated intimate spot which should not be overlooked!

Real Italian Food...not "American Italian"
The lasagna is to die for ...home made pasta sheets...hand rolled paper thin..the way it should be...
When Carmella's garden is in season do not miss her insalata caprese with real buffalo mozzarella...
The only somewhat food drawback is the winelist..but its getting better..
This place, in another location like Tremont would have a 3 week wait for a table...

RIBEYE WONDERFUL!!
My husband and I looked for a place to dine close to home; and passing this place several times we went in (without reservations). It was great!
Our Ribeye (with truffel sauce& goat cheese pollenta was awsome) was the best as well as the gnocci (made upon request). The salad was superb-made up with orange dressing and mangoes. The staff was great! They bent over backwards for us.I've made reservations to take one of our vendors and his wife 7 days later. Pricing somewhat high but worth it.-no sorbet

Good potential, but life's too short to wait . . .
The owner is obviously aiming high: decor and ambiance depict an upscale dining experience. Problem is the staff and market don't quite believe it. No coat check offered; broken lamp on our table leaves us dark; and special $7 side salad comes missing ingredients. These are little things that an assertive diner can correct. But at this price point,is it fair to expect more? Warm focaccia, fresh bread and herby butter are tasty. Red sauces great. But the crepe-style manicotti was lost in the cheese/tomato sauce blob. The pricier entrees may have been good, but nothing we tasted really lived up to our expectations. On the Saturday night we went, more than half the tables were empty. My recommendation - drop the affectations and price point. Lighten up.

My Favorite Italian Food!
We often go to Oggi's Restaurante in Broadview Hts. and love the food. The owner (born in Italy) does the cooking and she is very talented.
In summer you will be eating veggies from her garden. The person above that did not like it should go to Olive Garden (AKA "Italian Denny's"),
that might be more to their liking :)
Unfortunatley most people do not appreciate authentic Italian Food! Keep it up Carmella!

Best Authentic Italian Restaurant!
My family was born in Italy and the food here is true Italian cuisine! We love the Lasagna and there are always daily specials too! The stuffed pepper appetizer is awesome. We have never had a bad meal here. The sauce is to die for! Only Italian food that comes close to mom's!

Fantastic Food, Great Service
Have been to this restaurant many times. Great authentic Italian food. Have taken my family and friends many times and all have been pleased. Love the pasta, lasagna, pasta arrabiata, Chicken and veal dishes. Reasonably priced. Have never had a bad meal. One of our favorites!!!

WAY over priced, TERRIBLE service and mediocre food, at best.
My mother was in town and I wanted to treat her to a nice dinner at a local restaurant. My husband and I have been here before, when it was Pazzo's, and we were very happy with our experience. This was not such a pleasent experience. Not only was there only ONE waitress for the entire restaurant, she was not at all pleasant. She seemed annoyed when we asked for more bread or pasta sauce (for our dry and rubbery chicken parmagan) and because she was the only waitress, took forever to get our food/drinks/bill. On top of our already poor experience, the bill was OUTRAGEOUS! I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE.
