Will Neve go Back!!

the food was tasteless....alfredo sauce was runny and flavorless...food was served cold and there were only 4 tables in the place...had to be reheated. The physical place was "nice" and the waitress was friendly but the food took way to long for how busy they were. The salad was a bunch of lettuce with carrots and cucumbers tossed on. The house dressing was tasty. The wedding soup was awful, had huge slices of carrots and celery not a traditional recipe anywhere. The bread was fresh and hot. Read the bad reviews never thought I would write one, didn't believe a place could serve food so flavorless. Had to ask for extra sauce for all the meals bc of skimpy sauce portions (we were charged extra). Don't go!

Our Favorite!!!

My husband I have been dining here for over 10 years now. The food there is AMAZING. Everything, from the chicken, to the meatballs, to the sauce, everything is so delicious. Their mozzarella sticks are unlike you will ever have in your life, as is their French Onion soup. The salad is just lettuce and carrots, but really, who goes to an authentic Italian restaurant for the side salad? The family that owns and runs it is there every single night, always friendly. We love it and have brought many family members and friends who share our opinion.

Food Felony

My palate was raped this evening by the slop served to me at this establishment. I have a theory....your meal is as good your salad. Well, my salad consisted of chopped iceberg lettuce and some shredded carrots. Had it not been for the dressing, I would've taken this cheap and lazily created salad home to my sons' guinea pigs. The main course just about left me in tears of disgust. My "pollo blanco" was as bland as white bread. I am definately suffering from hypertension as a direct result of the amount of salt I had to add to this dish.....to no avail!!! Fresh aka canned mushrooms...your not fooling anyone!!! The chicken seemed boiled, the sauce had developed a film that was fork poke-able. Dousing the plate with dried parsley and an orange wedge does not a good meal make!!! Pasta is usually pretty dependable when all else fails....not tonight!!! The noodles were lumped together, I needed a rake to seperate. The servers were stoic and unfriendly...... Two very brief high points (being very generous with my verbage)the bread was delish, could've had it as a meal!!! My Bombay Sapphire martini was amazing.....big shout out to the bartender (word of advice...take your skills elsewhere). I don't like to me sooo mean, however, I payed 75.00 for this meal. I left unsatisfied, disgusted and I could've spent that money at Bath and Body!!!!

Music WAY Too Loud

I had lunch there today with 3 other ladies in their early 70s. One is quite hard of hearing. The new place is very nice, the food was delicious as always ... but the LOUD music was beyond annoying. It made conversation nearly impossible. I ask our waitress to turn it down and she said she could not ... that it was automatic. As we were leaving I mentioned the loud annoying music to the hostess/owner(?) and she didn't even seem interested ... or more to the point offended that I mentioned it. I will never return there until assured that the music will be more appropriate to dining and chatting and much softer.

We just returned from a delicious meal at Davitinos in Mentor. Service was fast and efficient-owner was smiling! Food was delish as always. We've been going there for 25 years and have not been disappointed EVER. Portions were alittle smaller but we still bought home extras. We have no complaints. If you are looking for cheap Italian stay home and make it yourself. Only complaint was the 60's music. Alittle loud and not dinner music.

No good!

They serve HUGE portions and when I split a chicken parm with my mother they slapped us with a 2 dollar "split fee" aka handing us a plate. They did not even split the meal for us onto two different plates. Instead, handed us an extra plate and charged us $2 for eating the same amount. Also, the bread they gave us had mold on it and they didn't comp. anything for that. Not personable place. Has become an old folks joint. Best place for Italian is Scotti's in Cleveland on E 185.

Fantastic

I have been dining here for about 9 years. Now I live on the west side and their closed on Mondays, so I have to make a special drive to eat here, and as always they do not disappoint.Their consistancy is on the money every time. My favorite is the Davatinos Parmigiano, Its a pork cutlet pounded so thin that it measures 10 inches across and top to bottom. Side of pasta , their sause is one of my favorites, meatballs are better than mine!!! Now their salads , well, they have cut back on the ingredients, it now consists of iceburg lettace and carrots, it used to have more. Oh well. Service is fast and friendly , refills on drinks without having to ask. And the place is CLEAN!!!Oh and about price, not expensive at all.. 2 can dine with tip for around 24.00-30.00.
