Having frequented Vhooda over the past year plus, I'm dissapointed to note that they've changed. Although the wonderful decor is the same, everything else is not.
Gone are the fun-named categories and dishes like "Beast of Burdern". Now it's just "Chicken."
Gone are the signature appetizers like the incredibly good "Cheese Pyramid". Now they just have "Fries", "Onion Rings", "Crab Dip", etc. As for the onion rings, which I had, they were almost unedible piles of greasy, over-friend, underbattered, unflavored crispiness. Thank goodness for the horseraddish sauce, I guess.
Gone are the "extras" like dinner rolls, side salad, and heck, even sauted onions on your steak. Want a salad? $3 extra. Want onions on your steak? $2 extra. To be fair, the server did mention they were extra.
Gone are the signature deserts like the "Chocolate Erruption". Now it's "Chocolate Cake", "Rasberry Cheesecake", and I think pudding. As for the cake (which I had), it pretty stale and pretty borring.
Overall, the meal was okay, the service was on par, but the experience... well, it just wasn't Vhooda.
If you want a unique dining experience, Vhooda is not the place.
If you want an overpriced, average tasting meal, then by all means, go to Vhooda. They have great decor.

The price of the food is about the average for the upper eichialon items they serve. My waiter was extremely pleasent and informative. I recieved my food very quickly and thought it was superb. The manager came to my table and offered an outstanding dessert that was delicious. No smokers were inside since the actual ban didn't really get enforced by law untill a few months ago. My date and I had plenty to say about the decor and atmosphire. If I had one last time to eat I'd choose Vhooda!!

We eagerly looked forward to checking out Vhooda for an early dinner Saturday.
We started off with the crab cakes appetizer and although we found it tasty, we continued to taste it well into the evening.
I had the fish tacos and added on a side of King Crab legs. The tacos were delicious as long as they were piping hot. Once they cooled a bit, it seemed as if the grease flooded the bottom of each taco and I was unable to continue eating them. I felt affected by the excessive grease well into the next day. Yuck!
The crab leg was huge and was cooked perfectly, was firm and not overly salty. I cannot remember enjoying crab legs so much. My friend ordered steak and also found it delicious and cooked to her specification. But we were both turned off by the lack of real butter on the potato and for dipping the crab leg.
Our server, Tim, was very attentive if not a bit on the really serious side.
I don't think I'll go back again.

I had the pleasure of dining at Vhooda last week..I totally loved the pasta and my date had the seafood..both were delicious and the service was great too!..I got to say hello to some of the Browns players who were there...so you know its a great place..they can afford to dine ANYWHERE!..I cant wait to enjoy the outside deck and entertainment there. Well worth the cost of the meal..and an enjoyable place to drink as well! ( HIC!)..Go Cavs!

VHOODA IS STILL ALLOWING SMOKING EVEN AFTER SMOKING BAN LAW!!!
Food was ok and seriously overpriced. I've had much better! Most dinners were 20-27 dollars, not including drinks.
Decor was great though.

The Vhooda had great service but it was a Sunday night and the decor was pretty cool with the Dungeon like theme but the Atlantic salmon tasted dry, fishy and soapy also my mate requested a change in side dish to asparagus and waiter didn't mention an up charge till the bill came. So the Atlantic salmon alone was 15.99 + 1.50 up charge for the asparagus. The appetizer was mushrooms a bit pricey not too tasty also the desert was fried bananas pricey and bla. I will not return and I'll be surprised if there still in business in a year. For Salmon Buca Di Beppo and Macaroni Grille are both way above Vhooda.

The "no smoking law" went into effect as of January 1st 2007. You should know that somkers are going to take advantage of that as long as they can.
You really shouldn't be so quick to judge. Give the restaurant another chance, and this time judge their food and service.

I will not spend another dime in this place until they FOLLOW THE LAW and get rid of the stench of cigarette smoke. My anniversary dinner was RUINED since I had to sit there and breathe smoke from the bar.

Finally, someplace different to go with great food. No money was spared on this place or menu. It is like being on vacation and the 20 foot arched aquarium is worth the trip alone. My favorites are the Loster Thermidor and the Lobster Bisque is the best I have ever had, I think they used a whole lobster in it! Meat lovers must try the filet medallions over garlic mashed potatoes and the pork chops. Make sure you end the meal with the deep-fried cheescake ! It doesn't get any better then this !
