High FIVE
The service was great, the food was great, and affordable! The vegetable tempura was the best Ive ever tasted. I had the wild boar basil which was excellent. I cant wait to go back and try something else.

Reopened - new name - High Thai'd - better than ever
Just reopened as High Thai'd on January 18, 2011. The menu offerings are very similar to the former Mint Cafe...the servers are the same...the new management and kitchen staff are outstanding. Unpretentious, comfortable, with beautifully presented and always freshly prepared food...one of Coventry's great gems!

inconvenient service
The food is good here, but I was extremely irritated after going to dinner with 5 friends that they would only split the bill 4 ways despite the fact that all 6 of us credit cards. All the restaurants I have ever worked out have had contracts with credit card companies to honor customers card, even if it is an inconvenience to split or below what they'd like a minimum to be. The hostess told us if that was a problem, we could "walk" down the street to the atm. Finally when we figured out who would pay, we still had to add the bill's up ourselves. Going out to dinner is a luxury and I have never had to sift through a bill to divide up totals. Tree Country Bistro honestly has Pad Thai that is just as good, if not better, and they have always been so friendly there with great service. I think I will not return to Mint Cafe in the future.

Thank you to Plugged In Cleveland!
I was deemed the one in charge of choosing a restaurant for our foursome. Went on Google and found (by chance) pluggedincleveland.com/restaurants in my search for eateries in the Cleveland Heights area.
After reading the reviews, I decided on the Mint Cafe. It turned out to be an excellent choice! While it's a Thai restaurant, their menu selection was really quite diversified. The food was beautifully plated and exceptional in flavor and the servings were satisfying in quantity. We will definitely return to the Mint Cafe. It was a wonderful dining experience! Thank you.

One Of My Fave Restuarants!
All I can say is that the food here is amazing. Im not the type of person who leaves reviews, but this restuarant is worthy of praise. The soft shell crab is sweet, spicy and refreshing with fresh fruits and vegetables and artfully arranged as is their main courses. The lemongrass chicken and mango curry is my favorite so far, but theres tons more that I will be sampling in the future. The Bubble Teas are definitly fun and delicious, dont miss it if you visit this restaurant. The atmosphere is casual and the decor is tasteful. The staff is attentive and polite, even if its packed. I just cant say enough good things. This is a restuarant that my husband and I visit at least once a month.

Packed with Flavor!
Their food is packed with flavor! They have nice proportions, prices are resonable. One of the most authentic Thai restaurants in Northeast Ohio! I've ordered their pad thai, lard na, spring rolls, and tom kha kai and its always been very exceptional and the closest to my mothers home cooking.I like the fact that the restaurant is run under a Thai family, it seems like now a days there's everyone but Thai people running Thai restaurants, no offense but it's nice to know the cook is Thai and not a hispanic guy (i.e. Sakkio Japan) The interior decor is also very comforting and gives you a feel of a contemporary Asian influence. Overall, it's a wonderful family owned business with great food!

Soooo Good.
I love Mint Cafe. It is a Coventry must! I have never been disappointed. The Staff is always nice. This is a great casual place. I recommend the Plum Bubble Tea, Garlic Dumpling soup, and tofu Crazy Noodles extra spicy with peanut sauce. The Pad Thai is good, but get the Crazy Noodles!

Amazing flavor! My Favorite in Cleveland!
All I can say is the Mango Curry is amazing! Better than sex!
Great prices, very nice tasteful cozy atmosphere, prompt service even when swamped.
Great Appetizers: Summer Rolls, Chicken Satay
Yummy Entrees: Mango Curry, Crazy Noodles, & Coventry Rd. Madness (seafood smorgasbord)
I've heard Duck Noodle Soup & Jade noodles are good too.

Another gem on Covetry!
After 3 visits, I can say that this place is well worth trying, especially if you appreciate thai food.
Service has always been fast and attentive, and the presentation of the meals is creative. The best part is that the food always has tasted very fresh (nothing "canned").
Loving the fact that another independant restaurant is on the scene, and doing a great job!
