Will NEVER go here!
This establishment STUCK fliers to the windows of every car parked at the Triskett rapid station on Tuesday, 6/10/08. When I tried to remove the flier from my windshield, I was left with a giant rectangle of sticky white paper thanks to their thoughtless advertisment. What they did was vandelism, and I will NEVER go to this establishment.

Horrible Customer Service!
This August I was scheduled to hold my wedding reception at Jac's and I was really excited! Everything was going great and our plans were really progressing. We were preparing for our final tasting when the manager started making excuses for why he couldn't send it, after three months of me asking for the information he stopped taking my calls. With 4 months left until my wedding he told my wedding planner he was unable to have our reception at his venue. The manager proceeded to say that he may be quitting and to please not tell anyone! To anyone who is planning an event at this restaraunt please be aware of horrible customer service they provide. To cancel someone's wedding reception with no real reason is unprofessional, especially since they weren't even planning on telling me that they had no intention of holding in their venue.

what a cool looking place....the great experience ends there though
When you enter Jac's you feel like you just stepped into one of New York City's finest hippist bistro...unfortunatly the great experience ends there. Jac's was the biggest dissapointment I have experienced with a restaurant in a very long time. EVERY SINGLE AREA OF THIS RESTAURANT other then the decore NEEDS A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF WORK!! Front of house, bar, and of course the kitchen all are in need of serious help.
First of all let me say that I have never been so compelled to write a review about a restaurant as I am about my experience at Jac's. SO HERE GOES!!!
1. Food is absolutly horrible..my girlfriend ordered "pan roasted" chicken out came a tiny quarter of chicken that when she cut into noticed that the chicken was completly raw, not to mention we waited almost 40 min for our food to arrive, and that we were one of maybe only five tables seated in the entire restaurant. If a chef cannot cook a piece of chicken especially when the kitchen is not at all busy then there is a serious problem not to mention raw poultry is dangerous!!
2. The drink menu was very large and had alot of veriety, and drink menu stated that all mixxed drinks are 2oz "pours"..our drinks were not only very expensive but were no way a 2oz "pour"
3.After sending the chicken back we were left sitting at our table for almost 20 minutes without an offer of dessert or another drink...it was almost like the staff didn't know what to do after sending back the chicken, so they just avoided us...very inexperienced staff!!!
4.I was very excited to try Jac's and was obviously very dissapointed, and the word must be out about Jac's because again there was only 4-5 tables seated and absolutly nobody sitting at bar ie: THE PLACE WAS DEAD!!! who ever owns this place really should take a look at whats going on or its not going to be around very long...it would be nice to have a restaurant with this type of decor that delivers the service and quality that Jac's is charging for but certainly not delivering!!

This place is going downhill FAST!
We went to Jac's last evening and I was completely disappointed by the entire experience. The menu has downsized significantly, and it only offers a few selections (don't trust their online website menu). In addition, the restaurant was out of several items including salad dressings, chamboard, and other martini mixes. Furthermore, the food was extremely bland and boring. Do not try the flatbread pizzas, they came out undercooked and when they made new ones, those were raw as well. Unless they make some major changes this place will be closing very soon. It's too pricey for such a bad experience.

Jac's is different and- it's about time.
This place is great. I have lived in Cleveland for 30 years; and this is one place that is different than most in the West 6th area. The food is great and the place is big- it has four different "sections": (a) patio outside (b) lounge area (c) bar area (d) restaurant area to accomodate anything from a dinner for two or a large party. I may live in CA now; but when I make it back, I always spend my time there! Make sure you check it out!!!

Come for the Food
We ate at Jac's this weekend and the food was fantastic. The mussels were so good, I wanted to take the broth home with me. The squash soup should be on the dessert menu, too, so you can order it again. Very, very good.

Best Food in Cleveland...Shhhh it's still a secret!
My wife and I couldn't believe our meal on Friday night. We ate at Jac's on W 6th. It was fantastic. We couldn't believe the place wasn't packed. It's fairly new, and I know once the word gets out it will be a hit. Every item on the menu was impeccably prepared. The service was attentive and appropriate. I always hate the overblown egos of the wait staff at Parallax and Lolitas. No egos here. This is a must try if you're a Foodie. The atmosphere is very casual the bar is hopping and the there several lounge areas open as well. I love this new format!

Food is art here
I just tried Jac's for the first time last night and will definitely be back to try more menu items. For appetizers we had the baked goat cheese, a house salad, and roasted shrimp. In addition to being delicious, they were visual works of art. For dinner I had the walnut salad with gorgonzola, rasberries, the most delicate pear slices I have ever seen, and an unusually moist and tasty grilled chicken breast. Again - a work of art. Decent wine list and generous martinis. Great NYish kind of atmosphere - sleek and simple - very cool. Oh - and the most attentive waiter I have ever had. How is this possible that they are getting it right on all accounts and aren't packed on a Friday night?
