I Heart Grumpy's
We have been at Grumpy's too many times to count.- birthday parties and christening parties. They have a house citrus dressing that is fabulous. You can get anything from grilled cheese to stir fry to gumbo and it is all perfect.

our experience
At first, we were impressed by the atmosphere & menu. The food was very good & we were satisfied until we got the bill. We were told that soup or salad was included in the entree, but they added an extra fee afterwards & argued that they add it separately. Either way, we were told one thing, and charged much more than expected. Although my entire family was looking forward to returning, after this incident we've crossed it off our list. How disappointing and what a let down!!!

Great Sleepy Place
We went for dinner and came back with the kids again. Great kid's menus. Sandwiches were great and huge. The meatloaf was awesome and their potato salad was to die for. The dinner portions were huge! They have a menu board with all their specials for the day and they are yummy! Hubby says their catfish was fantastic. I had a pasta bowl and the next time a meatloaf melt. Left there very full and with a box of leftovers. All the staff were super friendly and took excellent care of each one of us. The price is moderate and well worth every penny. It's BYOB which is an excellent idea! We will go back many times just to try each of the items on the menu. We are super excited to try their breakfast which is only served on the weekends. Please go check this restaurant out for yourself. You will be pleasantly surprised!

Saturday's Breakfast Gathering Spot
A nice spot for a good breakfast followed by a walk in the park! First time in and we were not disappointed. Warm wait staff, food was hot and the coffee was a delicious start to the morning. We were early diners so by the time we left the place was filling up. Two short stacks of pancakes, the oatmeal apple and buckwheat walnut. Both were a bit denser than a traditional pancake but were delicious with the warm syrup. We ordered bacon extra crispy and it came out perfect without being burnt. I found the Cajun home fries a bit to spicy for my breakfast taste buds. A relaxing, good tasting breakfast for well under 20 bucks. We will be back to try the dinner menu which includes a BYOB.

Tasty AND Delicious!
I Love Grumpy's! The meatloaf is to-die-for. The price is low, quality is high, excellent service, clean AND...you can take your own cocktails.
When I visit Tremont, Grumpy's is always on my list of places to eat at.
In the summer, it can be a little warm indoors.

Tasty Lunch Spot!!!
Grumpy's Cafe in Tremont was very pleasant. I thouroughly enjoyed the burger I had which was served on sort of a texas toast. Very unique and delicious! The pricing was reasonable and defenitely worth it for the high quality of the food i received. The service was fantastic as well. Quick and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and unique. I loved the artwork hanging that was connected by chains. All around a great lunch experience and I will most defenitely be returning!

Highly Recommended!
We just went to Grumpys last night for the second time, both times with large groups, and the food and service were consistently excellent. We especially love bringing in our own wine which makes dinner here and excellent value as well.

AMAZING!!!!
Amazing food and priced right!! We were visiting Cleveland from Illinois and family took us there for brunch. Best breakfast I have ever had. I refer Grumpy's to the Food Network (Diners, Drive-ins and Dives). The services was also perfect!!! Cute building with lots of character!!!

Grumpy's? Not grumpy at all to me
Grumpys i say the best place in tremont ohio to go and eat. i was brought there by my boyfriend and i don't think i'd eat at any other place in tremont than grumpy's.... place is outstanding. what can i say? definitely a place i'd go to again =]]. excellent service..

Love this place!
I love this place! Couldn't wait for them to open after they moved. Great food and art. Each time I've been there I've tried something new and I've never been disappointed. And, the two women who run the place are friendly and wonderful.

Great 4 Lunch
While the omeletes are great Sunday mornings, lunch is also a pleasurable experience. Today I feasted on the Grilled Cucumber and Salmon Salad which was excellent. The salmon was grilled to medium/medium rare perfection. The greens were fresh and delicious. The house salad dressing was excellent but sparse. You may have to ask for more than the 2 tablespoons in the cup that is served with the meal. I've also had the vegetable wrap which is also delicious.

Tasty & Cheap
All the food is fantastic. Everything is priced very well. You can have a sandwhich for 7 or 8 dollars. Great place to eat & is a favorite of mine in Tremont. However, I always ask the waiters their favorite item on the menu or if something is good. The owner is there a lot & she seemed offended when I asked how something was & she said everything was great so that's my only complaint.

Grumpy's Return!
Food is excellent. New location on W. 14th has ample parking and the decor is wonderful. Separate room for private parties is also a nice, new addition. Personality? hasn't changed a bit. It's been a long two years, but well worth the wait!
