Lousy, lousy, lousy ! March 28, 2008 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        I took my fiance' out for a Lobster dinner at the Lobster Trap in Twinsburg,Ohio. I made reservations for two for 7pm, Friday night. I made the reservations a day in advance. When we got there, the booth I had reserved was not ready at all. They sat us at the very back of the restaurant at an extremely small table. Our server was very slow and forgetful. Had to ask for a glass of water 3 times, and then still had to go to the bar to get it myself. About every 3 or 4 minutes a busser would come by directly on the other side of our table and dump all his dirty dishes in a bus pan while we ate. We got to know him pretty well! His name is Ray. (good-guy!) The Lobster was very good if you could keep your plates arranged properly on the table. Our waitress showed up about every half an hour to clear our table. But usually when she finally got there we had cleared our own dirty dishes into the adjacent bus pan opposite our table. LOL. Everything was overpriced and the side dishes were seriously lacking everything! Lousy! Spent $127.00 and didn't even get an after dinner mint! Horrible restaurant!!! We highly recommend if you're going to this place, Bring your own side dishes, water, private booth, after dinner mints, toothpicks, and of course,...be ready to clear your own table,....because they sort of take their time! Never again March 01, 2008 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        There was no effort to salt the parking lot. The waitress never named the specials. The hot tea water was lukewarm. She forgot to take my husbands' side order. There was a frozen grape tomato in my salad. My order of scallops with linguini in wine sauce was terrible, The pasta was mushy and the scallops were watery. In their defence they did not charge me for my order but I don't think we will go there again. Review By: cmt From hudson

Simply great experience November 09, 2007 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        I read the previous reviews and just had to try the place, one problem: THEY MOVED! Then when I called I was told they were directly across the street and I turned around and there it was. The new place is cavernous with beautiful oak bars and brass appoinmnets. Dinner was outstanding, scallop casino appetizer to die for-and of course the twin Lobster dinner was better than Boston. After dinner we visited the fish market down below the dining room, very confusing as you actually have to go outside to get to the market and you come in through an office area then down a ramp. Amazing! April 10, 2007 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        The best dining experience ever! The food (twin lobster) was great! The servers are excellent! My husband and I live on the west side of Cleveland but go often to enjoy the delicious food. The only negative issues we ever experienced were 1. the appetizers are not that good compared to the entrees, 2. The dining room is rather small making it difficult to have your own conversation without hearing everyone else talk as well 3. We thought it was great March 06, 2007 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        My husband and I dined at The Lobster Trap last weekend. It was our first time there and it was great. The New England Clam Chowder was excellent, as was our Calamari. We both ordered the Lobster Special and we were amazed! Perfect in every way. The only notable problem was that our server was a bit slow in filling our drinks and the manager is like a pesky fly hovering about the tables in conversation while trying to dine. We had a great time! February 18, 2007 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        Hm... maybe the last guy should have gone to Joe's. We thought this place was really great. The prices were extremely reasonable, the apps were really really good, and the mains were delicious. The sides could use some tweaking... make that a lot of tweaking... altho', with the great calamari, chowder, and stuffed lobster that I had, the sides weren't even needed. The only negative point in the evening was the fact that our plates were not cleared often enough. We kept having to shuffle around empty app plates and serving plates to make room for the next course. Other than that, no real complaints. (Can't speak for the restroom, didn't go.) Another plus... at the time, mid-January, it was BYOB with no corkage. LOVE THAT!! Altho' they did say that they were in the process of obtaining their license. Review By: Leslie From Akron

The lobster trap February 15, 2007 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        the menu is over priced and the food is ordinary, they offer no butter with potato and drawn butter should be brought out with meal. there was no wet naps or bibs . salt and pepper should be on the table. one restroom only for men and women to share and bought 2 lbs of crab legs and received about 1 pound and they cost $37.00 never will go back Review By: john max From 44614

great seafood, incredible lobster special January 30, 2007 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        found this gem a few months ago and have been a regular ever since. the twin lobster special (25.95) is the best deal in town. first class all the way. be sure to reserve on weekends or join the wait in the hallway.
