I had to check this place out, I dined here a few months after it opened. The buffet had alot of items on it, but I came for the beef. First of all they sat us next to the kitchen doors, yet I had to flag down a carver coming out of the kitchen more than once. Then they explained the carvers touted 9 types of beef, sausage and turkey. I passed on the turkey, never got any sausage, and the tenderloin was charred beyond recognition, All I dined on was 4 types of meat, and remember , I was seated next to the kitchen doors. Then we ordered the Mojitas, I dont like rum so I gave my husband that one , and my girlfriend and I ordered the vodka Mojitas, watching the bar tender prepare these I realized, hes making us vodka gimlets!!! Throw around some spanish names and reinvent the wheel. It was an experience, but I wouldnt go back. I will say that they have the most beautiful bathrooms I have ever seen in a public space...

I went with a group of about ten people who had all actually gone to a real brazilian steak house, in Sao Paulo Brazil. Every single one of them said that not only the food was exactly like it would be in brazil, but also the atmosphere. All of the meats were cooked perfectly, and were continuously served. Be prepared to pay 35.00 a plate, our total bill was pushing 600$! But that was because we got pitcher after pitcher of guarana, the stuff is awsome. The waiters/servers are all very friendly and know a great deal about all the different foods, ask questions and have fun, at this most amazing restaurant!

Brasa is food and an experience. Here's a tip: Nibble at the delicious salad bar and save yourself for filet mignon, lamb, sausage, flank steak and more. On a bad day the meat may be mildly greasy. But usually it is a meat connoisseur's heaven. I'm confused by gripes about $200 bills and $4 soft drinks. This restaurant is the cornerstone of the Warehouse District, home to many of Cleveland's best clubs and restaraunts. Be prepared to pay - the food is worth it.

Third time a disaster at Brasa, reservations for our party at 8, not seated till 9, lied to by hostess about being seated in 5 to 10 minutes 4 times. Salad bar not as good as previous two visits, only one cut of meat made our exccellent list, the other 15 cuts were average and several were dried out at best. Big disappointment!

Last night I went to Brasa Grill with my husband and a group of friends. Let me start by saying that the food was really good. The meats were all wonderful and the salad bar was more like a buffet. Overall it was a pretty good experience. I’ve told you the good so I guess it’s time to get to the bad and the ugly. First of all who gives you all you can eat meat (not spam and lunch meat - tenderloin) and charges for refills on pop – that is just stupid. The waiter tried to tell us that everyone in the area does it and that some places even have “club service” which means that if you were to order a rum and coke they charge like $8 for the rum and $4 for the coke – Yeah Right! This is Cleveland not New York most of the people around here are working class and no establishment that charged that much for a drink would last long. Now for the scary stuff…. One of the guys that goes from table to table with the meat cut one of the people in our party. We immediately told our host so that #1 the knife could be taken off of the floor and cleaned and #2 he could bring her a band-aid. He rushed off (without asking who did it) and then proceeded to run around for ten min. whispering to people and then came back with no band-aid. She told him that she was more concerned about the knife and he told her not to worry because they were the cleanest restaurant around – we then had to explain that it was not sanitary for the rest of the people in the place to eat meat cut with a contaminated knife but I’m not sure he wanted to understand – by then it was too late anyways. Finally the manager came with some band-aids and told her that she would be taken care off. To all of us that meant she ate for free but when the bill came they had charged us. We told our host and it was taken off the bill although you could tell they were not happy about it.

I am a frequent diner of mid to high-end restaurant. I have never been treated like I was at Brasa Grill last weekend. After a $200 bill I felt moved to write this review. Normally, I don’t write reviews like this but felt moved to be my experience.
This was my second trip to Barsa Grill. When the restaurant first opened my wife and I tried to dine there. They were completely over booked and after a 2-hour wait, and the hostess had locked herself in the wine cellar crying, we left. Figuring they were still ironing out the bugs we decided to give them another chance.
On Saturday July 16, 2005 we made our second trip to Brasa. The place was mostly empty at 8pm (not surprising after our last experience). We were seated promptly and our meal was great. All the meat one can eat, delivered and carved table side. The service was also good. When I received the bill I found we were charged for each soda (pop). I first ordered a mixed drink for $6 dollars and switched to Diet Coke. At the same time my wife had two $8 glasses of wine and so did my mother in law. My father had a few soda's and I got some refills. We were charged $10 for 5 pops.
I asked the waiter about it and he replied rudely "it's the house policy" and proceeded to blame the restraunts. I asked for the manager, who came to the table ready to fight, who blamed the server. I don’t care whose fault it was. It is ridiculous to charge that much for soda after a $37/person plus alcohol. I was really, ok with it until the "general manager" told us to "do what were going to do." After, that I vowed to Never-Ever return to the Brasa Grill. I hope you won’t either.

Brasa, which occupies the recently vacated Circo/Zibibbo space in downtown Cleveland, is a curious mix of fine dining and free-for-all. The concept is known as churrascaria: A wide variety of different cuts of beef, pork, lamb and chicken are brought directly to each table in succession, where servers either carve thin slices from a larger cut (roast beef, flank steak, filet mignon) or offer small portions (sausages or bacon-wrapped turkey). Diners can eat as much or as little as they like, signaling servers to the table by flipping a small disk - green on one side, red on the other. The fixed-price menu offers the full churrascaria experience for $35; diners with a lighter appetite can choose the salad bar alone for $25. (Don't let the term ""salad"" fool you, though - pasta, sushi and fish are also available.) White tablecloths, solicitous service and beautiful surroundings make an interesting backdrop for a large salad bar and all-you-can eat service, but the steady crowd at Brasa seems to indicate that no one is getting hung up on such trifling matters.
