Check splitters are cheap
Dude,
all the grief about 'splitting checks', you shouldn't go out to eat if you're going to nickel and dime your friends. Go somewhere else or just divide up the check. It's too bad when people have to measure every little thing... "Oh, she had 1 extra drink, she owes 7 more dollars.. .blah blah blah".....go out, have fun, enjoy it. Or DONT GO OUT AT ALL WITH OTHER PEOPLE. Splitting a check is for little old ladies and just plain nonsense.

Don't believe no name about the service
I eat at Brennan's about once a week and have never had bad service. Sometimes when it's busy, it might take a little time to get the food out, which is understandable, but I have never had a waiter or waitress that was rude or provided poor service. The service is great and they are always ready to get you more drinks, water, food, whatever. And the food is fantastic for a bar - try the meatloaf! I never knew, after having nothing but my Mom's, that meatloaf could be that good! I save up the calories all week just to splurge on their meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

Great food...terrible service
Food is excellent, especially the pork chops. But the service is AWFUL. Servers act like taking our order is an inconvience. Ladies restroom disgusting.

Don't bring a group here
Food is good. Prices are okay.
Even though we made reservations, we had 12 people and they would not split up the check (say 4 per check).
When the check arrived, items were just with the prices (without the name of the meal). Unless you have an extra hour to spare or a certified public accountant with you, the bill splitting can be very painful.

Best in Cedar-Lee area
We live just a couple of blocks from this place and boy are we lucky. The best meatloaf I've ever had in my life. The "Super Chicken" sandwich - YUM! Excellent service. I just wish so many people didn't know about it so we could get a table on Fridays more often!

New and Improved!
So Brennan's is even better.....they now have a host/hostess so seating is a breeze. They also have a new outdoor patio with a bar. Tis the season, Christmas Ale and Blue Moon on draft! I recommend the Ribeye Steak, Meatloaf, soups, bread, Onion rings, and Buffalo chicken sandwich.

Give it a try!!!
This is one of the best places on Lee Rd. Great beer, friendly staff, and warm customers. Attire is whatever you feel like wearing. No rules in this place. The BEST ribeye ever! Always cooked to perfection searved with roasted potatoes and asparagus. Also has a great salmon spinach salad with a variety of yummy dressiing options. It is very crouded on Friday nights and the wait can be up to 30-40 mins. It's sometimes difficult to find the waiter to put you on the list (there isn's a hostess). I go at least 2X per month.

Great place, skip the overpriced fish and chips
This place seems like it's always crowded. People even bring their kids. Great beer, and good bar food, though some of the food choices can be a bit overpriced. Take the fish and chips, for example. Twelve bucks for three very small pieces of fried fish, a small portion of fries, and a little, albeit tasty, portion of cole slaw. There's no way around the fact that it's a pretty bad deal. But hey, they're so crowded they can charge whatever they want. The meat loaf is a good choice. I wouldn't travel very far to come here, though. It's strictly a local place.

Best of Cleveland Heights
Where the hell can you get an enormous pork chop rested on chipotle smashed potatoes and toppled with fresh spinach served with a freakin dinner salad for 15 bucks? Did I mention the fresh bread? (from Stone Oven) C'mon now!

Wannabe FANTASTIC
Hands down the best bar food in town. The environment is very friendly and service is always excellent. There are a lot of familiar faces that visit so the only "wannabe's" are the people that wannabe there and don't go enough. I recommend the "All-world" burger. I've lived here for years now and I can't find one that rivals it. So if you're looking for a few beers a full menu and a nice relaxed place to have some eats and a good time, the colony is it.

Good Eats ...
Contrary to the other review, the folks here are not "wannabees", rather they are down to earth real people. The Colony is a great place to get good food without being hassled or hustled. The burgers are outstanding, the specials are great, and the jalapeno cheddar soup is awesome. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great, my iced tea was never empty for longer than a few seconds before someone was re-filling it. When you leave and the owner says "thank you", he really seems to mean it.

Strictly wannabeee
The crowd here (if you're looking for atmosphere) is strictly wannabees. Wannabee barhops, off-duty cops, you know the scene. And if you like it fine. We didn't. The artsy-fartsy group and long since departed. Enjoy.
