Great taste and fun atmosphere!
Beautifully designed atmosphere. Fun place to either have a cup of tea or the full course meals. Presentation of food is great, along with fabulous taste no comparision to other asian restaurants locally. This is a wonderful place to eat an not have to worry bout over seasoned food, yet quality is always exceptional.Totally rate this particular House of Hunan A++.

Not your run of the mill take out
House of Hunan is not comparable to take out Chinese business where the menu is a picto board behind the counter. No, NO! This is a restaurant that takes time to prepare your food and serve you a proper meal. The staff is accommodating, helpful and quick service. The food is excellent. I've tried several different items without a single complaint. It's simply great food. And even better is I don't leave with a MSG hangover or feeling excessive thirst from too much salt. We drive down from Strongsville several times a year because it's *that* good.
As for price, it costs slightly above average

Fried rice is always an upcharge ... not matter what Chinese restaurant you eat at. You should have looked on the menu on-line to know the exact price of what you are ordering. House of Hunan works really hard at making a pleasant dining experience with outstanding quality food. Their food is no comparison to the $7 Chinese meals. You obviously have never been in business for yourself. The fact that you took the time to write something that is so frivious about a business that really tries to create a great service shows that you have never been in business for yourself. You just want everything ! You should have also asked for the exact price before hanging up with the person who took your order. Who ever buys anything without getting the exact price !!

Hunan Take Out
I ordered two meals to be delivered. I was told I had the option of fried, white, or brown rice for my meals. So I chose fried, but what they did not inform me was that there was a $1.25 charge for the rice. I also asked because I was paying with credit card how much the total price would be and the woman told me she didn't know, but it would be a little over $20. When they arrived to my house I saw the $33.00 charge, I would say that is not just a little over $20. I have had good experiences withing the resturant but you are way better off getting a $7 or so meal from a chinese resturant than the over $14.00 per meal that I got.

Outstanding
A very relaxed and comfortable feeling.Loved sitting with my shoes off. Wonderful service from our waiter.Very helpful with food and wine selection. Prices are wonderfully priced for the average folk with taste and service found in high end restaurants.Great experience.
