QUAINT,COMFY,AND ABSOLUTELY BREATH TAKING

I WENT WITH MY FELLOW CO-WORKERS FOR CHRISTMAS PARTY AND ALL I CAN SAY IS THE ATMOSPHERE WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME IT WAS A COLD WINTERS NIGHT THE SNOW DRAPED THE STREETS LIGHTS TWINKLED AS THE FRESH FLAKES FELL FROM THE SKY THE WARMTH OF THE PLACE WAS FILLED WITH LAUGHTER,SMILES AND JOY AND OUTSTANDING SERVICE. THE FOOD WAS PERFECTLY PREPARED THERE'S A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE WHETHER IT BE A FAMILY NIGHT OUT OR A ROMANTIC MEAL FOR TWO OR A LOUD BUNCH OF CO-WORKERS THIS PLACE HAS WHAT YOU NEED. MY RECOMMENDATION IS THAT YOU GO IN THE WINTER DURING CHRISTMAS TIME AND THERE'S A NICE SNOW FALL BECAUSE SEEING THIS PLACE DURING THIS TIME OF THE YEAR WITH A SNOW COVERED TRAIN AS PART OF THE LANDSCAPE CHRISTMAS MUSIC PLAYING SOFTLY IN THE AIR IT WILL DEFINANTLY TAKE YOU BACK TO YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MOMENTS. WHAT EVER YOU DO PLEASE DO NOT EVER CHANGE THIS PLACE BECAUSE YOU ARE A DIAMOND. THANK YOU FOR THE EXPERIENCE.

disappointed customer

in describing the salmon dish, waitress forgot to mention it included shrimp which I am allergic to. So, of course i couldn't eat it when brought to me. The clamari portion was tiny compared to other restaurants and contained very little amount of calamari. The bread portion was also small compared to other restaurants. There was more than one of us but only one slice of butter slice was served to us! Finally, only one small piece of paper towel was avalable in the bathroom to wipe my hands! We got the impression that they are trying to save and make money rather than having satisfied customers who want to come back! Taste of food was ordinary! Very disappointed!

My Family's newest FAVORITE Dinning Experience!

To say we've liked every meal we had at Quince would do it a disservice. While I agree that sometimes it seems the staff may appear to dress for the spectacular level of the food and silver doesn't match, the food is the shinning star here. If this restaurant were located in Cleveland's Warehouse District, prices would easily be at least 50% higher. The flavors are bold where needed and subtle when necessary, attesting to the chef's outstanding culinary style. The food is always prepared with the freshest of local ingrediants... and the wait staff are always friendly and extremely knowledgeable about wine pairings and their recoomendations have always (for us) been spot on.

Taste Delights

The recommendation by a previous commenter of the lobster frite was spot one, how wonderful! The salad with cauliflower, feta and lentils was absolutely delightful and the pasta dish with the puttanesca sauce was incredibly delicious. I hope everyone gets a chance to taste these truly delicious, inventive specialties in Olmsted Falls. Not so far out of the way at all. Thanks so much, you did a wonderful job. You paid attention to your craft all these years, I hope your restaurant is very successful, you earned it!

BEST FOOD WITHIN 25 MILES

I AM AN ABSOLUTE FOODIE. I LOVE TO FIND NEW DINING PLACES. I WAS REFERRED BY A FRIEND AND WENT THERE FOR LUNCH. WHAT A GREAT MENU AND PERFECTLY PREPARED FOOD. I WISH THE ATMOSPHERE WAS A LITTLE WARMER WITH MORE COMFORTABLE CHAIRS. WE HAD TO WEAR OUR SWEATERS. I WOULD WEAR A SNOW SUIT TO EAT AT QUINCE. THE MENU CHANGES OFTEN SO IT IS ALWAYS A GREAT, POSITIVE AND NEW EXPERIENCE.

Our NEW Favorite Restaurant!!

This past weekend we dined for the first time at Quince.....WOW...that is all I can say! First of all, the setting was so cozy and comfortable with natural woodwork throughout with touches of nostalgia, made us feel right at home. Secondly, the food presentation was something that I have never seen before and to have them brought out in such a timely fashion was just amazing. If you walked away hungry, something was really wrong..their portions were fit for a King, all of us took food home! The hospitality made us feel so very welcome. The only thing that we would change about our Quince experience, would be leaving room for desert! Quince has definately moved to the top of our list as "Favorite Restaurant". Thanks Chef Gregg and Team...what a fabulous experience!! We can't wait to come back!!

Finally, the Falls has a great place to eat!

My husband and I had originally gone over to the Moosehead Hook and Ladder but couldn't get any one to wait on us (apparently the wait staff of at least 6 were too busy talking to eachother)so we left and stumbled upon quince. I've never been so happy about getting bad/no service. We had one of the best meals we've ever eaten together. We started with the flatbread topped with romaine, tomato, onion, avocado in a bacon vinegarette which was awesome. Next we shared the romaine wedge salad which had a fantastic dressing, gorgonzola, onion, real bacon and tomato. My entree was the lightly battered perch over sauteed potatoes and squash in a lemon butter sauce topped with spinach which was out of this world yummy. The husband had the homemade cavatelli with sauteed chicken medallions and vegetables in a marsala sauce. We were so happy with all that we had eaten we kept going and had the chocolate chip cookie sandwich for dessert which was two homemade cookies with a scoop of brownie ice cream and a scoop of cookie dough ice cream topped with caramel and homemade whip cream. Delicious! Very friendly and attentive wait staff. Incredible food, very incredible prices (about $55 - $60) and around the corner from home! Doesn't get any better than that for us!

MISMATCHED....

Here's the scoop....the menu and food are unique featuring well put together, inventive, delicious entrees, salads, appetizers. i can't say enough how impressive the food is!!! not only are they tasty but pretty to look at, like what you'd expect from the best in any big city but found in the quaint little town of olmsted falls. The "back of the house" a.k.a. the kitchen really has their stuff together, the front of the house, well, that'a another story. the host was dressed in bad blue jeans and an untucked, wrinkled shirt. the waiter's uniform was messy too.....not to mention that he was very overwhelmed by the 7 tables he was waiting on as the ONLY server. SERVICE IS VERY UNPOLISHED, NOT WHAT I EXPECTED FROM A RESTAURANT WITH THIS TYPE OF CUISINE!! i really felt like i was in a dumpy buffet restaurant with subtle hints of "want to be" more upscale accents splashed around. the decor really reminds me of the eating room at a retirement community & JUST DOESN'T MATCH THE FOOD! the silverware didn't even match...we found 3 differnt styles. the cooks/chef kept popping out of the kitchen, but not to visit the patrons, dressed in a CLEAN chef's coat, instead, they were rather sloppily put together, and really came out to grab a soft drink and look around. if this place would get their act & look together to match the food, it would be a contender for one of the best restaurants in cleveland, but there is NO ambiance, atmosphere, or style, etc.. what a shame. i'd return for the food, but that's only 50% of the experience and the service and ambiance is lack-luster. i like to have the complete package, not just part of it.

time to return

My friend and I ate there for lunch. Just happened on the restaurant. We both had the pulled chicken sandwich with tarragon ricotta cheese walnuts on cranberry bread. It was moist with delicious texture and taste. Much to our delight it was served with crispy shoestring fries of the homemade variety. The ambiance and service was also excellent. We can't wait to go back to try the rest of the mouthwatering menu. I almost forgot, the sandwich and fries was a mere 8.00 bucks!

A Truly Outstanding Experience!

My wife and daughter stopped on a Tuesday nite for a truly outstanding dining experience at Quince. Ken and Gregg Korney provided great atmosphere, service and delicious food. It was something out of one of the premiere cooking shows that you watch on television, only it was available in quaint Olmsted Falls, Ohio. My wife enjoyed the tilapia wrapped in a thin potato shell, my daughter enjoyed a Thai dish and I thoroughly enjoyed the home made chicken and dumplings. The desert was out of this world -a homemade chocolate pizza. We were so impressed we had lunch two days later and were amazed at the variety, service, quality and presentation of the food. We will be back and we hope the word doesn't spread to fast about this great dining experience! For a truly uni

Not your Mother's Mac & Cheese !!

This is a wonderful new chef-owned restaurant at Grand Pacific Junction in Olmsted Falls. I have just discovered it and what a treat! They have, among other menu items, a selection of gourmet mac & cheese dishes that are just to die for! I tried the carbonara sauce with peas, bacon and larage chuncks of mushrooms. Fantastic flavors and large portions. Very friendly staff who answered all of our questions and were very attentive to our needs. The atmosphere is rustic and it's located in a restored historical area of Olmsted Falls overlooking the river called Pacific Junction. The buildings are filled with unique gift shops and restaurants. We enjoyed strolling through the shops after our lunch. Looking forward to many more visits and sampling all of their offerings. Just Delish!!
