Casual, cozy, perfect French bistro
When you need something soul-filling, whether it's a ratatouille omelet or chicken cooked in wine or a dark chocolate crepe with a cup of smooth, flavorful coffee, La Petit Triangle is your spot. Come as you are, get treated well, eat like a king. I'm so happy to have this treasure in the neighborhood!

Best Restaurant in Cleveland!
At most restaurants I have trouble deciding what to order because there are two or three different items on the menu that I want. At Le Petit Triangle it's excruciating to decide on a meal because I want EVERYTHING on the menu!
Le Petit Triangle is very small, almost cramped but it's very comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen takes up about a third of the space where you can watch while the cooks turn out the best French food in Cleveland. Their signature dish is crepes and they run the gambit from spinach and feta to chicken cheddar chutney to dessert crepes filled with chocolate and fruit. Typically my wife and I will each order a crepe and swap halves so that we can enjoy more flavors.
The sandwiches are also to die for. The Pan Bagna is swiss, ham, artichoke, tomato and olive tapenade on a baguette and it is mouth watering. Their Croque Monsieur is made with ham, and gruyere bathed in bechmel sauce. It's everything bad for you and that's why it tastes so good. My wife and I even managed the courage to try their escargot. Yes, we ate snails, and at Le Petit Triangle we could do it without feeling too nervouse or too pretentious and they are delicious.
As for drinks, they are a traditional French cafe, so they mostly serve coffee and wine. They do have a surprisingly comprehensive beer list though with most of Great Lakes Brewing Company's beers as well as a selction from Germany and Belgium; nothing on draught, all bottles.
This is one of my favorite little places in Cleveland. Whenever my wife and I are in Ohio City this is at the top of our list of places to have lunch. In the winter it's warm and inviting and in the summer we sit on the patio to soak up the neighborhood.

Great lunch!
I had lunch with 2 friends at Le Petit Triangle Cafe today. The service was warm and prompt without hovering. And the food! Oo La La! Their coffee comes from Crooked River Coffee in Mayfield and is just excellent! Both of my friends enjoyed their French Toast and omlettes as much as I enjoyed my salad with chicken. The price is right and the food is great!
