Hidden gem!!
Lake House Cafe is amazing!! Their food is fresh and wonderful! The lobster pasta is amazing and so much food, you could take home enough for another meal. The view is as wonderful as the food - right on the water and there are 2 whole walls of windows so you have a panoramic view. The staff has always been kind, friendly, and efficient every time I have been in there. I had a party of about 12 people meet there for dinner and the waitress was so helpful! they had wine glasses for us to use even though we brought our own wine! By far the best place to eat in Lakewood! it sometimes takes just a little longer for your meal to come but that is because it is being made from scratch in most cases. They say that giving 5 stars in almost every category makes you look biased, but seriously, I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I only wish they were open later into the evening. I think they close at 8 or 9pm.

Talk about a great deal in tough times, lake view, sweet service and lotsa food inexpensive!
I live at the Berkshire, Next door. Took weekend friends, I was impressed. I did see folks bring their own wine, that was neat. Portions of food are moderate to large, you will eat it all, bring appetite. Salad was very crunchy fresh. Burschetta was a taste treat hot. Lobster Bisque was tasty, also very hot. Coconut Shrimp had a nice thin crisp crust, were good sized and tasted good and hot. Burger well prepared, nice presentation. Service attentive, 7-8 other tables occupied, older crowd yet festive. Has its own flair, as far as how food was prepared, different, but in a good way. Dollar value, wow, this place should have been packed. Casual dress. I will be back. To enter, you go to a side parking lot, to the rear, and enjoy a lake view, that alone was sweet man, especially right next door to home. Pier W, look out.

Great food and Awsome view
Unique menue with great view of lake Erie. They serve many items from breakfast to dinner. The lobster pasta was wonderful. Of course the perch is always great. Casual dinning room is comfortable. The food is very VERY good. Service tends to be a little slow (especially if you like your coffee filled). Bring your own bottle of wine. Nice dinning experience.
