Good stuff
had a nice experience last weekend. Enjoyed the new fall menu. Walleye with sweet potato waffle and fried bacon was great. Wife had the grouper is was great as well. The she-crab soup is wonderful.. Try the coconut cake. Look forward to bringing family in for the holidays.

over priced
I've been around the country to fine dining establishments and this was the most over priced place i have ever eaten. Beautiful setting, great staff, but i had an $11 appetizer that was a few bites of tuna, a $9 salad that could fit in the palm of my hand, a $28 brisket with no sides as my main course. I had an $11 half class of watery pino noir and a $10 ounce of scotch with no peat flavor. The food was good, the booze were bad, and I should be saying wow for that price and I didn’t.

I get the hype
Went last sat night, sat on the patio after the rain, great atmosphere outside, the bar inside was nice as well. Started with shrimp cocktail, thought the price was high until I recieved the large shrimp and wickedely spicey cocktail sauce, it was awsome. Smoked scallops where outstanding nice combo with the peas and carrots. She crab soup was to die for, best soup in the city, Wedge was great with green goddess dressing. My wife had the walleye and I had the shrimp and grits, both where fabulous. We had wine off the 25 dollar list, two bottles really affordable. Missed desert this time. Cant wait to go back!

Don't Get the Hype
After passing this restaurant several times and hearing rave reviews, we decided to try it out. The whole experience, from food to service, was terrible, at best. We were seated prompty, per our reservation, but waited nearly a half hour for anyone (the manager) to come and even offer the wine list. Several minutes later, the wine list and water came accompanied by a dissheveled member of the wait staff. Once we were able to order, and the food came (another long wait), it was not only not tasty, but my dish actually tasted burnt. Advertised as having crab, there was none, and the vegetables tasted like frozen that had been sitting in a dry pot all day. Not at all what we were expecting $150 later, but at least the wine was good. Will not be going back or recommending it to anyone.
