Beware of their Salmon/Lox!
This review is for the Rocky River Bruegger's store. Their bagels are quite good, however please be advised that you can get a bad case of food poisoning (I did) from consuming their salmon/Lox! This happened to me shortly after having their salmon lox slice on a bagel. I had nothing else to eat that day, and I got extremely sick a few hours later (i'll spare you the gory details), and spent the night in the local hospital ER hooked up to IV's including a second IV for Cipro antibiotic! I was severely dehydrated from violently vomiting, and my kidneys nearly shut down!!! I don't know if Bruegger's neglects to properly store the salmon, but they should only serve sealed salmon that is stored refrigerated, and opened when the customer requests it. My guess is that they sometimes don't do this, at the customer's peril. Avoid their salmon/lox slices at all costs (the salmon lox spread is different)!
