First and Last Dining Experience......


I dined at 56 West in Lakewood today. I had the Steak and Mushrooms on a Bagette Roll, and was very disappointed in the meal. The Bread was hard as a rock, the meat was extremely fatty. Served on the side was a soggy dill pickle. Additionally, the portion was very small...overall I was disappointed. All in all, not a good experience, for effect, the food came served on a piece of paper, with a steak knife sticking in the center, straight-up.....I guess as a garnish......Cleanliness was great, and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. Over all a C-.....
