Neighborhood Nightmare.
Hey Trendy Folks! Any Detroit Shoreway goers?
Have you been to the neighborhood bar, the one with the rocket ship thing on the side of the building on W76th.
Had been there once when it changed over from a gay bar. Was not all that impressed. Last year, I went there a few times. There was some changes going on that got a little notice.
They do have an awesome patio, but I did not like the bathrooms or the fact that you had to go to the lower level to go back up to get outside.
This year they actually unlock the game making it really nice to avoid an unneeded journey through the inside. Just recently they put on a new gate that looks cool. I was there for a party in the upstairs of the place. It was very nice, but the main bar was nothing special.
It seems that people like the area, but not really the bar so much. If you are dying to check it out you better do so before it closes down. Just a warning:
Expect terrible and slow service. A greedy and rude patio bartender. Sure she is scamming the place if you have not figured that one out yet. She is not the brightest bulb on the tree. Overpriced drinks. Bombs $7.00 in plastic party cup really? Very small choice of drinks.
Less than decent food that they think people actually want to pay next to nothing then be nickle + dime-ed to death. Please just charge me the regular price so there will be no nonsense later on. I am happy with paying a dollar for a taco.
