AmaZAzing
Was on vacation with my lady. We were just wandering around Euclid and surrounding areas and wandered across The Flaming Ice Cube. I'm not vegan nor vegetarian BUT I doo enjoy a vegan/veg meal from time to time. I must say this was the best food/resturant that we ecountered on our entire Cleveland trip. I highly suggest this place!

Great Place!... Come to "The Cube on the Square!"
Admittedly, when they first started, there were multiple inconsistencies, but that is being well worked out...and it is worth the visit.
The atmosphere is great looking out to the square and all within a 2 to 10 minute park if you insist on driving there. They are right on transit lines and deliver too. They also have curbside pick-up if you call in your order ahead of time.
It is great to have such a cafe in a unique downtown setting where it is proven that this cuisine can appeal to everyone beyond the choir--and work everywhere. It is a healthy and delicious food alternative to the greasy bar food scene that is open late.
Another nice thing that although on the fringe of E.4th Street, this place stands out and is not all jumbled together like these places on 4th Street, where it looks like one giant outdoor food court slopping the hogs! Give it a chance. It is about a year now since the official opening.... I plan on visiting often and so should you!

Excellent! Cleveland finally has a vegan restaurant!
I've ordered from the Flaming Ice Cube tons of times and each time I am so pleased. The food is always excellent, the desserts are fab and the service is great. As a Cleveland vegan, I'm normally stuck with a lame salad minus the cheese, oil and vinegar on the side. Now I can order a vegan burger with fries!

Inconsistent but the only vegan place around
The original Flaming Ice Cube in the Youngstown area is absolutely fantastic so I hoped the new location on Public Square would maintain that quality. unfortunately, the Cleveland cafe is very inconsistent in food quality, portion size and customer service. The wait time can be pretty crazy during lunch time, too....which is the only time most people are even downtown. It's a gamble- on multiple occasions, i have waited 20+ mins for take out, then returned to work to find a VERY SMALL, sloppy sandwich on stale bread, falling apart in a loosely wrapped piece of paper. It's just not worth it most of the time.
