Four of us went to the Cabin Club on 4.12.08 at 9pm. We received excellent service from our server, and the other server's helped, too. One odd thing is the female servers wear black, mini cheerleader skirts which didn't tie in with the look /feel of the place.
The steaks were not cooked as requested; 2/4 were medium instead of medium-rare, and 1/4 was medium-rare instead of medium. 1/4 was perfect. So a place that serves 3/4 steaks cooked at the wrong temp for a price of $25 each is not a good place to return!

Whoever thinks this place has the "best" steak must not get out much. We just tried Cabin Club and let me say that the place , and service is great! The steak (USDA Ribeye) I had was not even close to being the best. For a ribeye is was very tuff. I ordered it medium-rare, which it was; however it was not good. Also, my wife's filet was average at best. I still haven't found a steak better than "Red The Steakhouse" in Beachwood or "Flemings" in Fairlawn.

My family has been dining at the Cabin Club for well over a decade. The food has always been excellent. The service is always excellent. The atmosphere is great. It is the best steak house in Ohio, maybe the entire mid-west. Consistent excellence is what you get at the Cabin Club.

The food is super, the Salmon dishes are to die for.. The coffee is some of the best on the far west burbs.
The place is a bit small --nice if it's not busy but it typically always busy and the manager always seems to hire female server staff who look more fitting for a James Bond film, SWEET!
So it a cool place, great food and super services...

Great job to the staff at the Cabin. The food is always good and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Some of the best steaks and seafood we've eaten in Cleveland. Special thanks to Tyler for doing a great job!

Cabin Club, housed in an authentic log cabin near the Crocker Park shopping complex in Westlake, serves as a popular spot to grab a drink, chat with friends and sink your teeth into some serious steak. The blackened bleu Delmonico steak - the house specialty - comes piled high with bleu cheese and butter, and is served with chunky mashed potatoes and lightly battered onion straws. Steak Christopher, two baguettes topped with one-inch tournedos of filet, is topped with bearnaise. Soft, warm bread and a choice of soup or salad accompanies each entree; the French onion soup is rich and delicious.
