Great Taste, Less filling
8/16/08 My family and I visited this establishmnet, and for a pizza restaurant, I was thoroughly impressed. The pizza box art work I took a liking to, the interior design makes it welcoming, and the staff upon initial sight makes you feel your at a 5- star restaurant (due to the uniform). I ordered the Hawaiian pizza, and my family ordered the Shrimp/scallop pizza. Upon receiving my order, I noticed I made an error, I wanted the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken pizza. I inquired to the waitress about getting BBQ Chicken on the side so that I may be able to enjoy my order, she left for a quick time, regarding asking the cook about my task, and returned declining my task. I was bothered by that, but continued to eat my order, and vowed not to re-visit California King Pizza again. My understanding is, a customer is the person who comes to the establishment, a customer is the one who has chose to spend his earned money in the establishmnet, and a customer is the one that chose the establishment to fulfill his needs (within the limits of the establishment). Was my request exceeding their limitations for an item that is on their menu? Great Tasting food, but Less filling service. I could only hope this area of concern is looked upon closley so somebody else does not become disappointed such as myself.

CPK - as dedicated fans call it - is among the growing number of eateries within the confines of Legacy Village in Lyndhurst. The chain, which has been around since the mid-1980s, is new to northeast Ohio, and diners have been eagerly sampling the extensive menu of pizza, pasta, salads and soups. Pizza is the main draw here, and it comes in dozens of combinations ranging from classic (Sicilian and Margherita) to trendy (caramelized pear and Gorgonzola, and Jamaican jerk chicken). Salads at CPK come in two sizes, a refreshing change from the giant portion trend that many chains have swallowed whole; interesting combinations like white balsamic Provenìal and watercress with fresh beets make for some difficult decisions. The restaurant's interior is nothing fancy - in fact, it's nondescript - but considerate service and a decent selection of affordable wines go a long way toward making the CPK experience a nice break in the day or a respite from marathon shopping.
