This place needs help, bad!
We had the worst lunch experience here. We took my girlfriends grandparents there for their first time. The waitress did not help with the menu and after making us wait for 15 minutes after she brought our drinks, we had to ask her to introduce the fish of the day. She introduced it as trout, which she and I both ordered. Her grandmother and grandfather ordered sirloin marsala and Pollo Rosa Maria, respectively, both with garlic mashed. When the meals finally arrived (another waiter delivered them), our meals were deleivered as tilapia, hardly trout. We had to re-order. They were gonna charge 18 bucks for tilapia! The mashed potatoes were cold. The waiter spilled an iced tea on her grandfather and our new meals were delivered with the opposite side dishes. I thought we were on a reality TV show and they were doing this on purpose. The owner apogized and took two meals off the bill. I couldn't believe he charged us at all! We were there over 2 hours, for lunch. Overall, it was a disaster. We felt bad for her grandparents, as they don't get out much and looked forward this lunch all month.

What Happened?
I used to love, love, love this restaurant. My favorite dish was the Pollo Rosa Maria; two fabulous chicken breasts stuffed with cheese and prosciutto covered with a lemon basil sauce. Oh, to die for.
The prices aren't cheap (not expensive, but not cheap), $13 and up for an entree, but the food was good and, more importantly, the quality was consistent. I recommended this place to everyone.
Then, as with most chain restaurants, after the first year or two, they start cutting corners. Instead of raising the prices, they cut the portion sizes or use lower quality ingredients. Give me the option to have a half order and raise the price on the full size order. I'll be able to order as I chose and the half order will keep the prices low enough so that you don't lose diners.
Once I had my first bad experience, I gave this place three more chances to improve, but they disappointed me every time.
The beautiful chicken breasts became, scrawny, sickly, dried out chicken breasts half the size of what I was originally served and the calamari appetizer was often soggy (ew!).
I really hate to see a good restaurant go bad, but this is a pattern that I have seen at many chain restaurants. Don Pablos, once upon a time, was sooo good, and now it's a full serve Taco Bell (and sometimes the food isn't even as good as Taco Bell).

Gotta love the place!
This is an excellent place to go for great food, great prices, and great service. And the portions are unbelievable. You definitely get more than what you pay for. Atmosphere is nice, and the place appears to be very clean. Good Pizza too; a good place to take a family for a decent night out and it won't break your wallet.

Great Italian Food!
My husband and I order takeout from here all the time. The spinach and chicken canneloni is fantastic, as well as, the tiramisu. Best part is that they'll bring it to the car for you. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
