Cleats Closed... I'll miss Cyndi the most!!!
Cyndi was and always will be the best, of the best bartenders. Even though I only stopped in about once or twice a year, I'll miss seeing her again. See was a great friend. Hope our paths cross again at some other restaurant in the future. We go back years and years... from the time she worked at Cleats in North Royalton. If anyone ever knows where she's working... drop me a note. I'll appreciate that. PrestigeAuctions@wowway.com
Thanks,
Bruce

Cleats - When They're hot....or they're not
Cleats used to be our absolute FAV bar & grill in the area. Have to agree with a previous post... As they grow, they lose quality control.
Don't get me wrong, when Cleats is "on", they ROCK. But they are VERY inconsistent, sometimes the wings are nice & crispy, sometimes they're soggy & lukewarm. You might get a basket full of 2" of sauce, you might have 6 drops of sauce on the whole order.
Home cut fries are almost always limp & soggy.
A good tip - tell the waitress EXACTLY how you want your food cooked. I find that helps with the consistency & quality.

Count your wings and enjoy your foam
I've always liked the food, but the bigger they get, the less they care about quality and service. The bartenders always pour a quarter glass of foam and on several occassion my wing order has been short. I also agree with the previous review........If there going to advertise a happy hour, it should coincide with something other than a fictious "Bar Time"

"Bar Time"
A bunch of my friends and I went to Cleats right after work in hopes of getting a few beers before happy hour ended. According to our watches, we still had a half hour. But by the time we got up to the bar, happy hour was over with. We were all confused, including the surrounding customers. The waitress casually said, "Happy hour is over with, we go by bar time!" I said, "You must catch a lot of grief for this!" She then shrugged her shoulders and said "nope!" I didn't like the way she handled the situation. Personally and I think that going by "bar time" is a cheap way out.

Cyndi Rocks
Cyndi is the day bartender she is the best I ever had. She is fast, beautiful and very kind. Keep her around she makes the Strongville Cleats at lunch hour.
We ordered wings, beers, and the awesome homemade chips with cheese... the food came out fast. the beers were never empty... I LOVE CLEATS
