Hats off to "Murph"!!!
The best part of going to the Close Quarter is when "Murph" the bartender is there! He is just great... very friendly, and he makes sure you have a drink in front of you, because he knows how to ASK you if you would like another... unlike the usual bartender. You could have cobwebs growing on you before you were asked or can flag him down for another liquid libation. I'd like to know who dusts all that crap in there?! I bet if they got rid of half the junk in that place, there would be room to seat 5 more people. :-)

IT'S CLOSE, (in many ways) BUT NOT COMFY!
In a pinch or want something different to explore (and this place is different), it's not too bad! Not one of my favorite spots, but likeable, and we have had fun each time we frequented. However, the food is terrible... nothing but deep fried selections. I do not think they change their cooking grease often! We ate there only once, and never again! Although the prices are good, it is hard to get a second drink. You literally have to place your empty glass/bottle on the edge of the bar facing the bartender before he 'gets it' that you need another cold beverage. The owner needs a 'personality' check... can be a little sour. Rarely cracks a smile unless he 'knows' your name and for more than 5 years.

Close Quarter - YES!!!
Close Quarter's Pub! The best wings in town! You gotta try them! You will love it! If you aren't hungry, just look around and be amused! Or, maybe you want to see how the coconut-bra fits you...
And the pricing? Well, it's probably time for the owners to raise their prices, but shhhh, we won't tell them that!
