Nightowls and Eccentrics
True, the service isn't the absolute speediest but the atmosphere is great. if you're in any way artsy/punk/ska etc this is a second home for you. it's open 24/7 so it's a good place to cool down after shows or the club, or to just chill at night. the baristas are sarcastic and personable if you're open to it. expect to see tattoos, cigarettes, lots of black, and the occassional magick card players.

open coffee shop 24/7 right on lorain road east of rocky river drive, lots of different drinks coffee, soft drinks,etc gaming computer internet free wifi juke box lots of different folks inhabat this place,card games,gothic,service ok friendy atmosphere.

THE Hangout
If you're into the emo/goth/punk scene, this is the place to be. Metal/Screamo/Emo music playing on the jukebox, and about 40 different kinds of coffee to tease your senses. At first it seems a bit creepy, but start talking to people and its like a giant family up there. Stop in for a cup sometime and see just how great it is. Optimum hours are 9pm to 6am.

Drama Coffee
If you're looking for drama and shady characters Common Grounds is the place to be!!!!
With people like Dan running the counter and talking about genocide what better place to bring your mixed race friends.
The dirtiest people walk through the door and you think God how much worse can this place get? then you look at the floor and notice that it hasn't been swept in 19 hours and you know.
I'd rather vacation in Iraq than get another cup from this establishment.
