Reviews of 356th Fighter Group Restaurant
|
|

Perhaps one of the most original restaurant concepts in Northern Ohio, the 356th Fighter Group is indeed a blast from the past. Because it is designed to resemble a World War II stronghold, complete with military vehicles, aircraft parts and sandbagged walls, guests are transported back in time the second they step through the front door. The restaurant's sound system plays only period music, and should you find yourself in the ""latrine,"" you'll be alerted to breaking news regarding the war courtesy of President Roosevelt. Menu items, prepared by Chef Donald Scofield, include a variety of seafood appetizers, sandwiches, salads and chicken dishes. The 356th Fighter Group, however, may be best known for its elaborate Sunday brunch, which features made-to-order omelets, Belgian waffles, fresh roast beef and shrimp, along with eggs Benedict, bacon, sausage, a variety of lunch items and an impressive dessert selection.
